"Alright, Kiri! I'm going to get the bread!" You exclaimed.
"Great! Remember, get the garlic bread, not the regular!" Kiri shouted back.
"I will."
You walked out into the brisk cool air of spring. You were close to town, so you could walk to the bakery and come back with with delicious smelling bread.
You walked down the busy street, it was dusk and people were still out and about. You were on your way to pick up garlic bread for your hangout with Kiri. You could smell fresh bread, you were close.
"Hoi! Loser!"
You froze in your spot. You groaned.
"What do you want?"
"You still owe me and my friends some yen!" He shouted. "You better pay up."
You could feel chills run up your spine.
"W-What if I don't...have the money?" You asked shaking a bit.
"Oh, well. We'll beat the hell outta you." He smashed his fists together and his friends laughed.
"Gee. All I wanted was bread."
You turned around and sprinted, not looking back.
"HOI! GET HER!"
You ran and kept running, not looking back. The good thing was, you had your pocket knife in your grey, sweater-like jacket. You turned right 4 times and left 2 times. You suddenly bumped into a ash blonde man while walking through an alley. You fell to the ground but suddenly leaped up.
"Hey! Watch where your going!" The man shouted.
"I'm sorry! Have a good night!"
You looked behind you, he was turning the corner. You gasped and immediately ran away, nearing the woods. Without thinking, you dashed into the trees, sprinting from tree to tree. You stumbled on a root in the ground and suddenly fell downhill, sticks and twigs scraped the surface of your skin, but your legs were safe, you were wearing jeans after all, and grey boots. Once you stopped rolling out of control, you were dizzy and out of breath. When you looked at the trees, they looked, awfully different. You got up, making sure you had your pocket knife, and you did. The woods were strangely misty and the tree branches were higher up than the ones in your town. You were slightly confused, and drowsy. Then, you spotted a girl with brown short hair, walking in the woods.
"U-Uraraka?" You huffed.
The girl stopped in her tracks and turned around, she saw you, and looked at you with cold, dead eyes.
"How do you know my name?" She asked coldly.
"W-What are you talking about it's me, Reader!" You exclaimed.
"I don't know any 'Readers'. That must mean your an intruder." Uraraka growled.
Before you cold say anything, she dashed forward, her hand held out and claws extended. You easily dodged it and nearly fell back. Your legs started to run on its own, Uraraka was chasing you while you were tired, and you still have no clue where the hell you are. Your feet crunched in the leafs as you ran, you could barely see through the fog. You stopped behind a tree and straightened yourself against it. You huffed and puffed, trying to calm down your racing heart. You breathed in through your nose, looking back at the direction you ran from. You heard...voices.
"There's an intruder in the forest. We must head to camp and tell boss."
"We must tell the pack apprentice first or we'll get in trouble."
"Agreed. Lets go."
You heard footsteps walk away from your location, you turned your body around, facing the tree and peeping over the bark. There was no one there. You sighed in relief and slumped down to your side. You closed your eyes, and soon drifted to sleep.
You woke up to howling. You lept to your feet, grabbing your pocket knife and whipping the blade out. You held it tightly with one hand, the other held out to check your surroundings. You looked at the grayish blueish sky, it was morning. The fog was thicker than yesterday, and you were a bit concerned. You cautiously walked around, holding your knife tightly.
"You better be careful with that thing." Growled a voice nearby. "You could hurt someone."
You whipped your head around. Before you could do anything else, the man in front of you dashed in front of you, he grabbed your wrist with your knife and pulled it behind your back. He plunged you to the ground, you were uncomfortably on your stomach and your other hand was held out. You could barely move.
"Your coming with me if you like it or not." The man growled again
You were shaking, you suddenly felt his grip loosen. You squirmed from the mans grasp and immediately bolted through the trees. You were still tired, the good this was, you still had your pocket knife. The bad thing was...
You felt heavy pain in your right shoulder. The man had injured your shoulder, on purpose. You held it tightly and leaned against a tree, still hearing howling and your heavy breathing. You walked deeper into the trees, trying to find herbs or something to eat. You heard a loud howl, someone was close by. You sighed and ran. Your legs were so tired and sore. YOU JUST WANTED FRICKING BREAD! Tears were forming in the corners of your eyes. Your shoulder felt like it was on fire and it was bleeding like crazy. You dashed from tree to tree, trying to find something to help you while you were running. You hid behind a tree to catch your breath, things started to feel heavy. You decided it was best to take of your sweater. You plopped it on the ground, revealing a regular white shirt and bandages on your forearms and collarbone. You took your knife, flipping the blade into itself. You carefully walked around, looking at your surroundings. Everything was dark and musky. You settled down by a tree, sighing, and slowly closing your eyes and drifting into sleep. It was night time. You somehow climbed a tree and you were now sitting on one of the thickest branches you have ever seen. You watched as a group of 4 wolfs passed by your tree. Their ears were twitching to hear any of your movements but you were completely silent.
"AGH! It's going to take forever to find that intruder!" One shouted.
"Shut up, idiot! Uraraka said it was a girl, she explained that she had (h/c) hair that was (h/l). If we find her before anyone else, we can get permission to hunt whenever." another retorted.
As you listened to the conversation between the wolves, you tried to climb higher into the tree where there was more branches, but it was a bit complicated, since your shoulder was injured. When you reached a higher branch, your shoulder suddenly gave you a sharp second of pain. You shouted in agony as you let go of the branch and nearly fell off of the one you were on. The wolves looked to your direction and saw you on one of the branches.
"There she is!"
"She's in the trees!"
CRAP! Your eyes widened as the wolves started to head toward the tree you were in. You immediately climbed down a branch, you ran away from the trunk and hopped onto a different branch. You then climbed that tree to the highest peek that led you up to a sky view. The people who were chasing you were right behind you. You immediately jumped onto a different branch and kept doing it, over and over. You hadn't realized that the sun was coming up when you were far away from the wolves. You huffed and puffed, your lungs were burning and you were completely whipped out. You were standing on a branch, holding your shoulder and panting in pain. You sat down on the branch, and looked at the sky. You thought about how you were going to survive, and how to get back home.
