7 Seconds in Heaven

Annabeth, Percy, Grover, Thalia, Clarisse, Silena, Will, and Nico were all playing a game called king. What's that game you may ask? Well it's a game where you right out numbers on a piece of paper and one crown and put them in a hat, The person who gets the crown paper is the king and selects two random people to do a dare! So far Clarrise and Grover had to hold hands for 3 rounds, Silena and Annabeth had to raid the Apollo cabin, and Nico had to sit in Will's lap for 5 rounds (lots of blushing coming from the two.) Now it was round four, and Thalia had gotten the crown. "Yes! I have the crown! Hahaha!!" Thalia looks around with her eyebrows raised, "Now which pair of you will suffer.." She laughed again, "No just kidding, just kidding!" She looked like she was thinking hard. "Okay!" She smiles, "I want number 4 and number 2 to do 7 seconds in heaven!" She looked to see who had the numbers she had said. Annabeth looked up nervously, "Um... I have number 4." She glanced around the group and saw Percy blush and swallow. He looked at Annabeth then looked down at his lap. "I.. I have," He gulped, "Number 2..." He looked up at Annabeth and her eyes widened and she blushed. "Wait... Thals can you do that again??" She asked looking around frantically. "Nah, rules are rules! Into the closet!" Nico laughed at that and muttered something. "Thalia come on.." Percy pleaded. Silena looked incredibly happy, "YES! GO INTO CLOSET RIGHT NOW BYE."  She picked Annabeth up and Will got Percy, Thalia opened the closet, pushing them inside.

The closet was a small, cramped space only enough for one person, no matter two. Percy's chest was pressed against Annabeths back and they were both blushing furiously. "Time starts now!" They heard Thalia shout from outside. The first minute was spent in silence. Awkward silence. Annabeth could feel Percy's fast heartbeat against her back, her's beating just as fast. Annabeth was freaking out but trying not to show it, 1- she liked Percy a lot, 2- she is claustrophobic and was panicking. Percy sighed, "This sucks.." He was lying of course, he was secretly enjoying it because he had a tinyish maybe huge crush on Annabeth. Annabeth was a little hurt, did he not like her? She sighed in response, "Yeah.. It does, my claustrophobic self does not like this." Percy raised his eyebrows, "So the fact that you're pressed against my chest doesn't bother you?" It was risky, but he needed to hint at his feelings a little bit. Annabeth stuttered, "Wha- of course it does Seaweed Brain! Don't get any ideas!" -Please get ideas thought- she thought silently. Percy grinned. Annabeth started realizing her panic and started to breathe faster and harder. Percy scrunched his eyebrows as he always did when he was worried. "What's wrong Wise Girl?" Annabeth shook her head as she couldn't respond. "Annabeth? You okay?" He picked her head up and looked at her, silent tears were dripping down her face. "Wise Girl?.." Her breathing was getting shallow, her finger were crossing together and squeezing at her neck, leaving marks. "Wise Girl it's okay... It okay we're fine! We're okay!" He said softly wrapping his arms around her waist and hugging her. "Just close your eyes... You'll be okay!" He said reassuringly as she wrapped her arms around his neck. He blushed again, when they normally hugged, it was just arms around the waist, now she had her arms around his neck pulling herself closer to him. He rubbed her back and spoke softly to her, "Hey, it'll be okay, just seven minutes.. We can spend the whole seven minutes just hugging okay?" He pulled her in tighter. "I.. I hate this!" Annabeth sobbed, Percy hopes he meant the small space, not the hugging. He asked just that. "Of course I mean the small space Seaweed Brain... Why wouldn't I enjoy hugging you for seven minutes-" She bit her lip, she had probably gone to far. Percy smiled and Annabeth felt it. Her heart sped up again. "Gods of Olympus.. How long is seven minutes?" Percy asked, little did he know, the timer was actually set for 17 minutes as an extended game, and they had locked the closet door. Nico was laughing his ass off at that. "Maybe there's a light..." Annabeth said looking up, she found a chain and pulled it putting on a flickering single lightbulb. Annabeth could now see Percy clearly and he was blushing. Annabeth blushed at that. Percy pulled away from the hug to look around the closet. He saw there was a stack of boxes that was blocking a wall. He pushed them aside making the closet big enough to sit down in. Only problem was, only one person could sit down. "Oh.. Good?" Annabeth asked. "You can... You know sit on my lap maybe?" Percy suggested and blushed. Annabeth's eyes widened. "Um... Sure?" Annabeth had to bite back a smile. "Okay.." Percy sat down and Annabeth awkwardly sat on his lap. They were silent just taking in each other's presence blushing madly. "Um.. Have you been counting the minutes?" Percy asked trying to fill the silence. "I had a panic attack Seaweed Brain of course not." Annabeth said rolling her eyes. "Oh... Yeah I forgot, I was just happy we were hugging not gonna lie-" The words just spilled out and he couldn't help it. His cheeks reddened and he stammered, "Um, you know 'cause like I don't want you to like panic because I care about you- or, no like, I don't want you to be scared because we're friends-" Annabeth cut him off, "Friends?" She asked her eyebrows raised. Percy caught his breathe, "Well, yeah I mean we aren't like dati-" Annabeth rolled her eyes, "No I mean aren't we best friends Seaweed Brain?" But she couldn't help but blush more herself. "Oh.. Oh yeah." He grinned, "But we could be more than best friends-" He winked. "Seaweed Brain!!" She said rolling eyes. "I mean- I would love too!" She playfully flirted back trying to confuse him. His eyes widened, "Wait really? 'Cause if you do then like-" He caught her eye and looked down blushing EVEN MORE, he laughed, "Nah, just kidding Wise Girl don't get your hopes up!" She rolled her eyes again. About a minute passed and Percy knocked on the door, "Yo has it not been 7 minutes yet?" He yelled. No answer. "Thalia?? Grover? Nico??" He yelled again. Still silence, "Guys?? HELLO?? We're still in here!!" Annabeth started breathing faster again, "THALIA! If this is joke it isn't funny!! Let us out!!" She knocked on the door, but the rest were gone. Annabeth sat back and took Percy's hand squeezing it tight. Percy rubbed the back of her hand with his thumb, "It's okay.. They'll let us out!" Annabeth looked at him in the eye, "Will they? Will they really?" She looked scared, almost. "I'm sure of it Wise Girl, try to get some sleep, okay? I'll wake you when they open the door." Annabeth leaned back on Percy's chest and put her head on his shoulder. Percy smiled, happy to be so close to his Wise Girl. About 10 minutes later Annabeth had dozed off, and Percy studied her face. She was seriously beautiful, like sure she was always really good looking but you could've told him she was a princess and he would've believed you. Her hair was a gorgeous blonde color and it was curled, she had a deep tan that was from training so much, her lips were partially separated and a rosey pink, when her eyes were open they were a light grey most of the time which were absolutely amazing. She was thin but a lot stronger than you'd think. He had thought she was asleep so he gathered up the courage to do something unthinkable. Kiss her. Just very lightly, he planted a small soft kiss on her lips. Annabeth still eyes closed, pulled Percy back down on her lips and kissed him softly back. She then turned her head and acted as if nothing happened. Percy's eyes widened and he grinned. He then put his head on hers and made himself fall asleep, thinking only of his Wise Girl.

This one takes place when they were 14, before they went into the Labyrinth, so they're 14 i think! I really love the like "so like are we dating or just hitting on eachother" kinda thing. I feel like this moves a little to fast so i Apollo-gize for that! ;) Anywho thanks for reading!
