(takes place 1 year after the Labyrinth)

Annabeth rung the door bell at Sally and Paul's apartment, they had invited her over to watch a movie. She didn't know what movie, however. Sally answered the door laughing at something and Percy appeared at her side red in the face. "Come on in Annabeth! Oh, it's so nice to see you again!" She said as she wrapped Annabeth in a huge hug, Annabeth hugged back, she absolutely loved Sally, she was like a mom to Annabeth. "Hi Sally!" Annabeth said smiling. She smiled and waved at Percy, "Hey, how come she gets a huge hug and all I get is a wave!" He complained grinning. "Oh shutup Seaweed Brain you know I like your mom more than you!" She said and Paul laughed. Paul shook Annabeth's hand and welcomed her. "So, we were thinking about watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets since last time we watched the first one!" Sally explained. "Yeah, I'm down for whatever you want!" Annabeth said back. She didn't really care about the movie, she was just happy she was with Percy. Oh and his family too. "Or we can watch Arachnid!" Percy said looking at Annabeth. "I swear to the gods Percy.." Annabeth said rolling her eyes and following Sally to the living room. "What?! It's a good movie!" He fought back. Paul leaned over and whispered something in his ear, he looked back at Paul, again blushing and whispered something back but this time, she heard it. "Maybe?" He grinned and walked into the living room. What had Paul said? Annabeth wondered that for the rest of the night.

They had gotten organized on the couch and decided that the second Harry Potter movie is what they were going to watch. Sally practically jumped on the couch and begged Paul to sit with her, Percy laughed then realized that's only left the loveseat for them. He looked at his mom and sighed, she just smiled. Percy sat down almost on top of the armrest, Annabeth sat like a normal person. "Alright let's get this party started!" Sally said grabbing two blankets for her and Paul. Which again, only left one blanket for Annabeth and Percy. Neither of them took the blanket. "Okay wait lemme go to the bathroom first!" Percy said hopping up. Annabeth looked him over, he was wearing a navy blue shirt which was fit him just right, grey sweatpants with nothing special about them, and black socks. His eyes were as gorgeous as ever, sea green with a little blue in the center. His hair looked like it needed a haircut, but Annabeth liked it long.

Percy walked into the bathroom and looked at himself, he gave himself a silent pep talk while messing with his hair. He was telling himself he was gonna make a move on Annabeth tonight, maybe just a small one, but a move undoubtedly. He flushed the toilet as if he had used it then went back out to the living room. He looked at Annabeth and noticed how she had gotten somehow more gorgeous over the month he hasn't seen her. Her hair was curly and blonde it hung down over her shoulders,  her eyes at the moment we're a very light shade of grey, probably since she was super happy, she was still super tan. She had a purple off the shoulder sweater, nike- (the brand not the goddess) athletic shorts, white socks, and she was wearing one of those bra things that were lacey and you could see it (sorry i know she probably wouldn't wear this but a girl can dream. Also I made this Percy's mind and he doesn't know what a bralette is.) He sat down this time not on top of the armrest and a little closer to Annabeth. "Okay so now can we get this party started?" Sally asked again. "Yeah let's get this movie going!" Paul said back. Sally clicked on the movie and turned up the volume. The movie started.

Around halfway through the movie Sally got up and said, "I'm gonna go get some popcorn, Annabeth, would you like to come?" Annabeth's eyes lit up, "Yeah of course!" She got up and walked behind Sally into the kitchen.  Annabeth grabbed two bags of popcorn out of the kitchen. "So? How is camp? How's training? Any new problems come up?" She added that last part warily. "Camps good, Chirons trying to teach the Party Ponies to be more responsible." Sally laughed at that. "Training's also good, I learned how to catch a sword on my knife which is a very complex move." Sally raised her eyebrows. "And no, no more big problems except we have the end of the world on our hands." Sally laughed but with a hint of worry. "You have any boy problems?" She asked. Annabeth stopped and blushed. "Um, no not really.." She lied. Sally raised her eyebrows, she could tell when Annabeth lied. "Okay, so, maybe I have a little thing, but I'm sure he doesn't like me back." Sally rolled her eyes, "Annabeth, you are the most smartest, prettiest, talented, brave, and awesome young lady I have ever met in my life, I know for a fact Per-" She stopped herself and her eyes widened. Annabeth's mouth dropped. "Wait, you know?" Annabeth asked nervously. "Oh well... Of course dear! I mean it's not like you two try to hide it.." Sally said apologetically. "Oh.." Annabeth blushed. "Well, I heard Percy having the same conversation with Paul and he says he's sorry about that other girl Rachel because he thinks he likes you.." Sally whispered. Annabeth looked confused, "Thinks?" She asked. "Well yes, he's quite confused when he comes to his emotions... Well, I've also heard him say-" Sally took a deep breath, "Oh, he'll kill me for saying this, that when he first met Aphrodite... It looked like you for a second.." Annabeth's face got very pink, "You mean... The goddess of love? And he saw.. Me?" Sally smiled, "I'd say he's head over heals for you dear, he just doesn't know it yet!" Her eyes twinkled. The microwave beeped. They grabbed the popcorn and a few cokes and went back into the living room, Annabeth still blushing and thinking about her and Sally's previous conservation. Annabeth sat down about four inches away from Percy which was super close in Percy's book. She handed him his coke and popcorn without looking at him. His eyebrows scrunched up, "What's wrong Wise Girl?" He asked. "Oh nothing! I'm fine!" He could tell when she was lying and this time she wasn't, "Okay.." He looked at his mom.

Then it hit him, his mom had probably said some things in the kitchen. "Oh..." Percy said under his breath. How much did he tell her? Or what did he even tell her? Oh my gods what if she told her just completely flat out how he feels? He raised his eyebrows warily at his mom, she looked away. Oh gods, his face felt hot and he looked away from Annabeth at Paul. Paul raised his eyebrows, as if to say "What did she say?" Percy raised his eyebrows quickly saying "Everything.." Paul made a face and whispered to Sally, she grinned and shrugged. "Well," Paul said clearing his throat, "Let's finish the movie!" Thank the gods he was here. He decided to take a blanket off the table and spread it over him and Annabeth, she glanced at me surprised, and he was scared he messed up. She smiled and moved close enough so they were touching, and he blushed again. Annabeth put her head lightly on his shoulder and his heart sped up. Wow. This was really happening. It was hard to concentrate on the movie because of Annabeth on his shoulder but he tried his best.

Annabeth was freaking the absolute hades out. She. Had. Her. Head. On. Percy. Jackson's. Shoulder. HIS SHOULDER!! And they were sharing a blanket, she never thought she would get this close to Percy. Sure, she had kissed him last summer but that was a one second kiss and she thought he was going to die.
About thirty minutes later, Ron, Hermione, and Harry were looking for something and Ron started freaking out, Annabeth saw why. Spiders. Lots of Spiders. Tiny, 8 legged stupidly terrifying spiders. Annabeth's eyes widened and her breathing sped up, Percy looked at her with his eyebrows scrunched up, "You okay?" Annabeth shook her head in response. He put his arm around her and pulled her in close, she closed her eyes and put her face in his chest. Percy caught his breath but Annabeth didn't seem to care, she was to scared to do about anything. Percy stroked her hair blushing crazily. Sally put her hair behind her ear and smirked. Annabeth was still shaking. "Okay, it's over Wise Girl, you can look." Annabeth peeked our from his chest and calmed herself down. Little did she know, Aragog was coming up. Ron and Harry were walking through the woods when Aragog appeared. Annabeth shrieked and buried her head in Percy's chest and he wrapped both his arms around her. "It's okay, he's friendly! It's okay Annabeth.." He said comforting her which was kinda awkward but he tried. Annabeth took a deep breath and shuddered. "Yeah, we're okay.. We're okay Wise Girl!.." The scene ended and Percy told her she could look, "Well last time you said that a million giant spiders on screen.." Annabeth picked her head up and smiled, her eyes were red. He removed his arm around her front but kept his arm around her shoulders. "Annabeth, sweetheart, are you okay?" Sally asked more concerned. "Y-yes Sally I'm okay.." She said taking another deep breath. "If I may ask," Paul said looking at Annabeth, "Why are you so scared of spiders? Does it have anything to do with Arachne?" Annabeth sighed, "Yes, it does." She explained about the Arachne/Athena thing. "Oh... Wow.. That's very interesting. I'm sorry about that." Paul said sympathetically. "It's okay! I'm fine!" She said.

The movie ended and we were all dumbfounded at the ending, we all discussed it afterward, by the time they were done talking it was 1 AM, too late for anyone no doubt a half blood to take a train back to Camp Halfblood. So Sally asked if Annabeth would like to sleepover, Annabeth of course said yes. They didn't have a guest bedroom so Annabeth had to sleep in Percy's room which she didn't complain about. Percy made Annabeth sleep in his bed so she was comfortable which she tried to argue back about but he pushed her on his bed saying, "Nope! You are sleeping in my bed, you can't say anything about it!" And threw a blanket over her. "Ugh, fine Seaweed Brain!" "Do you need something to sleep in?" He asked. Annabeth raised her eyebrows, "Yeah, sure." Percy went into his closet and and pulled out a plain white shirt, grey sweatpants, and a pony tail holder in case she wanted to tie up her hair because he didn't know how girls slept. "Alright, go away." She said, "What? I don't get to stay and watch?" He said grinning. Annabeth kicked him playfully in the shin and told him to shut up. He left and Annabeth quickly changed, and called him back in. "Okay Seaweed Brain! You can come back!" She said. Percy walked back in and noticeably looked her up and down, happy to see her in his clothes. She tied her hair up in a low pony tail. "What you like what you see?" She teases and laughed. Percy smirked, "Well maybe I do." He said and Annabeth sat on his bed, and Percy laid down on the floor. Annabeth laid back and covered herself in the blankets that spelled like Percy, so did his clothes. "Goodnight Seaweed Brain." Annabeth said, "Goodnight Wise Girl!" He said and closed his eyes. "i love you.." Annabeth quietly whispered and closed her eyes too.

She may never know he heard it.
