The "Bad Boy"

       I have a rep at school where i'm the school "bad boy" or whatever, my scars from "demigoding" people say are from fights I've been in (I wish.) Anyway, today I'm wearing just a plain black shirt which complimented my muscles, grey sweatpants cause they're the comfiest things ever, and black converse. My black hair hung barely over my sea green eyes which girls called "enchanting" and continue to try and make a move on me even though I constantly say I have a girlfriend, they don't believe me.

I rush through the hall ruffling my hair trying to get it looking decent. "Hey Mom!" I say grinning, I've always loved my Mom though no one at my school knew. "Hi sweetheart! You're running a little late!" I look at my watch my half brother Tyson gave me, which doubled as a shield. 7:46, I cursed in ancient Greece. I'm supposed to be at school at 8:00, "Oh shoot sorry Mom I have to go! Bye love you!" I say as I run outside, "Love you too! Stay safe!" She responded. She always told me to stay safe being a demigod. I grab my skateboard and start my journey to hell.

I arrive at school and rush in my home room class, "Sorry I'm late Mrs. Snider-" I look around and remember my reputation. I relax my body, slip my hand into my pocket and push my hair back with the other, "Sorry.." I grin and wink and walk to the back of class next to my friends. "Hey Percy!" Nathon says leaning back in his chair, "Yo" Jake says smiling, he's always greeted me with yo since the beginning of the year. "Hey guys" I sit back in my chair with my ankles crossed. Mrs. Snider talks about stuff we're gonna do today but I just goof off with my friends. "Mr. Jackson would you please be quiet?" She looks at us with a piercing stare, I'm not even nervous when someone gives me those looks. Well, except for Annabeth's. She's a professional at those kinda looks and they're scary. I put my hands up like I'm surrendering and smirk "Sorry, sorry.." I say while Jessie, a girl who even I can tell likes me stares at me smiling and batting her eyes. Mrs. Snider rolls her eyes and continues talking about the day.

*Time Skip to Lunch Period*

I walk in the cafeteria and grab a tray. I choose what Tartarus deserving food I want and lob it on my tray. I sit down at the usual table where the "cool and popular" kids sit, AKA me, my friends, Jessie, her friends, and some other people who I don't really care about. I scrape a section of my food off and whisper to my dad Poseidon, I know it's not as good as burning it but the school probably wouldn't allow a burning camp fire in the middle of the cafeteria. I start to eat my food when Jessie sits down right next to me. I look at her bewildered, she normally sits at the other end of the table, with her friends. "Hiiii Percy!" She says smiling, "Hey" I say without looking at her. "How're you doing?" She asks twirling her hair, "I'm okay how about you?" I say. Hey, I never said I was mean or anything. "Well I'm doing great since I'm right next to you!" She says as she takes my hand. "Listen," I say pulling my hand away from hers, "I have told you countless times I have a girlfriend!" She glared at me "I know she isn't even real! If she is then why isn't she at this school?" I stutter, Annabeth lives at camp and I can't really say that. "She lives in- in California, with her dad, he's a history professor!" I say with more confidence. "Oh Percy, sweetheart, long distance never works out! Get a grasp on reality! If you're with me we can see each other everyday!" She takes my hand again and I pull away. "No! Annabeth is my whole universe! You wouldn't believe what we've both done for each other, she's perfect in every way possible! She looks like a goddess, she's incredibly smart, not to mention gorgeous again-" The whole cafeteria was looking at us at this point, it was silent except for my voice. "She's saved my life countless times, I gave up immortality for her! I saved the world with her!" I knew I probably shouldn't be saying all this but hey, once you get me talking about my Wise Girl, I cant stop. "I'm so in love with her and everything about her! She's my best friend! I'll love her until I die, and then after I do die!" Jessie looked shocked. She raised her to say something and I flinched, hard. Even though Gabe is gone, he's hit me so many times when someone raises there hand, I flinch. She looks at me her eyebrows raised, her tongue in the side of her mouth, "So, Mr. 'Bad Boy' is scared of my hand, whats it gonna do? Hit you? Awe is my hand gonna hit the poor little scared Percy Jackson? Are you so scared-"
"Get the hell away from my boyfriend."
I turn, and I see the dark grey stormy eyes of my pissed off girlfriend, Annabeth. I gasp. She looks at me and gives me a slight smile, clearly still fuming. Jessie looks confused. Annabeth walks towards me and Jessie, stops in front of her, looks her up and down, and slaps her in the face. She grabs her face and and glares at her, "Listen here, you have no idea who in the Hades my boyfriend is, or I am, but don't even think disrespect him, or me. I could blast you to smithereens if I wanted to, so you are not ever- and I mean ever, going disrespect Percy like that again? You understand me?" Jessie says nothing. "I said, do you understand me?!" She says louder. "Ye-Yes ma'am!" Jessie nods and tears form in her eyes. "Good." Annabeth says smiling and straightening up.
Woah.
I have never seen Annabeth like that, not even with monsters, she was really, really, pissed off. I stand up and grin, my fear from before had melted away. I pull Annabeth in close and hug her tightly, taking in everything around me, her hair still smelled like lemon shampoo, the fact her owl earring was dangling over my neck, her heavy breathing, the fact that people were recording and looking at us shocked. I pull away from the hug and put my nose against hers and whisper, "Wow Wise Girl." She smiles, and whispers back, "Seaweed Brain-" But she's cut off by my kiss. I know it's stupid but even though I've kissed her more than a million times I'm still surprised and just as flustered every time we kiss. I can hear Jessie blubbering in the background but I really don't care about her. I pull away and look at her in the eyes, "Thanks Wise Girl.." She plants one more small kiss on my lips, making me blush. We pull away from our embrace. And Jessie storms out of the cafeteria, followed by her friends. I take Annabeths hand and say "Well I guess meet my girlfriend, Annabeth Chase!" I look at her grin and blush. The cafeteria started cheering for someone reason. I throw up and peace sign and pull Annabeth out of the cafeteria. "Well that was a turn of events.." I say smiling. Annabeth looks at me with sympathy, "Are you okay? I know about Gabe so that's why I stepped in..." She trails off. "Yeah.. Yeah I'm fine, don't worry, but you? Oh my Gods Annabeth are you kidding? You were amazing!!" Annabeth looks down, "It was nothing.." I hug her again, pull away and look her up and down. "Where did you come from??" I haven't even thought of that, she just appeared out of nowhere. "Well I was bored so I asked Chiron if I could visit you and surprisingly he said yes! But when I came in to surprise you, you-" She looked down embarrassed, "you were defending me.." My eyes widened, I blushed. I mean obviously I felt like that but, the fact she heard me say it was kinda awkward. "Oh.." I look up and smile at her, "Good, I want you to know." She smiled back and I kissed her cheek. "So, wanna ditch?" She scrunched her eyebrows and looked like she was about to lecture me on the importance of school and learning and blah, blah, blah... But she grinned and said "Sure!"

And we spent the rest of day out in New York.

Okay so that completes the first one shot, sorry their wasn't much of Percy and Annabeth actually like together but I'm pretty satisfied! This is one of my first One Shots and I'm not sure if it's like too long so if you have any tips or suggestions leave them in the comments!
