Everything was black. Completely dark. It's been some time since she has born. She'd hear voices from the other side of the room, quite murmurs. "Gale kit! You have no right to ack like that! Leave the kit alone."
"But- what if she LIKES the sti-"
"Poking a kit, especially a newborn, with a stick is not acceptable."

She squirmed around, as she'd reach her tiny paws out to feel her mother's flank. Before she knew it, a blast of light hit her vision as she'd quickly shove her head into her mother's flank, not able to bear the light. After a moment of silence, she'd lift her head again, adjusting to the light, as she tilt her head, she'd look at a gray she, laying besides her.
"Oh my, little one. You've open your eyes already."

She tumbled over to the she's paws, recognizing the sound of her soft voice, knowing that the she was her mother. She'd roll around by her paws, immediately energized.

~A few days later~

Fidgetkit nudged her mother.
"Come ON Smokygaze! Let me outside.. I'm bored!"
Fidgetkit complained. Smokygaze smiled and let out a soft chuckle
"Alright alright. But Galekit can show you around."
Fidgetkit opened her mouth to complain.
"Hush. I know what you're going to say. Galekit is a moon older than you, and has already explored the camp, and I trust him to keep you safe in there." She gave Galekit a hard glance, then continued on, "You must not, I repeat, must not leave camp."
Fidgetkit would tilt her head, "Outside camp?"
Smokygaze would sigh, "Well, the elders can tell you that story young one, Galekit can take you to their den once your done with your camp tour." She flicked her tail, "Go on, now. Have some fun."

Without hesitation, she'd rush outside the den, feeling a gust of fresh air hit her fur, as Galekit ran after her. "Stay on your paws, Fidgetkit." He'd laugh, Galekit then flicked his tail, walking over to each den, giving out simple details about the den and who sleeps there. Fidgetkit glanced over to see a gray figure with a tan underbelly walking over to them, as Galekit nudged her over to him. "The camp has been telling me that my dear little kit has been wandering around." He'd purr lowering his head to touch Fidgetkit's forehead, she'd purr, enjoying the touch of her father. Galekit interrupted. "Why don't we visit the elder's den, now?"
