8 years ago, Jack Kelly and Claire Nolan, who are then-teenagers were stranded on a deserted island on a school cruise trip to Hawaii. They survived for days on the island, and trying to find a way off. Throughout their journey to survival, the two falls into a passionate, intimate love for each other.
Eventually, they were rescued by a tourist helicopter and was sent back home to Kansas, and reunited with their families. Their journey of survival on the island was left behind for good. Today, 8 years later, Jack and Claire are now young adults, both age 25 and 26, now both moved out of their home in Kansas and moving together in Los Angeles, California.
The couple live together in a modern penthouse apartment and are also engaged to be married. Their upcoming beach wedding in Hawaii, is near coming. Jack pursue his dream job and is now a firefighter lieutenant for the LA Fire Department. Claire also pursue her dream job too and is now a paramedic for the LA Fire Department.
The couple are so happy to be working and living together throughout the days and get to be around each other for 24/7. One night after a long shift at the Fire Department, the couple return back home, exhausted. "What a day!", Jack sighed, as he and Claire collapse on their bed together, with exhaustion.
"Yeah, it's been crazy today.", Claire sighed. "Tell me about it.", Jack smiled, as he wrap his arm around Claire's shoulder and gives her a kiss on the head. "You know what we need?", Claire asked. "What?", Jack asked. "Order some take-away, a rom-com, open a bottle of champagne and a bubble bath.", Claire replied. "Ooh! Sounds great!", Jack smiled.
Claire giggles at his words and she gets up from the bed. "I want some sushi tonight.", Claire replied. "Ooh, sushi sounds perfect.", Jack smiled. Claire orders take-away from her phone and had their take-away delivered to their penthouse.
The couple enjoy their take-away sushi in their living room, whilst watching a rom-com on Netflix. Claire grabs one sushi with her chopsticks. "Would you like a spicy salmon roll?", she asked. "Oh yes, feed me babe.", Jack replied, and Claire fed one spicy salmon roll to Jack. "Good?", she asked. "Mmm-hmm", Jack replied.
Later, the couple later enjoy a glass of champagne in a bubble bath, with their bathtub filled with bubbles and decorated with red rose petals and surrounded by candles. Jack was holding Claire's hand and holding her waist with the other, whilst Claire held Jack's hand and touching his face with the other hand, relaxing in each other's arms in the bath tub.
"You're good?", he asked. "Yeah. I just want to spend this evening, peacefully with you.", Claire sighed. "Me too.", Jack sighed, kissing her head. Claire looks at him. "What are you thinking?", she asked. "Nothing, just thinking about it's been 8 years since we've been together, since high school and it's great how we're still together, and living and working together.", Jack sighed.
"I know, time flies so fast.", Claire smiled. "Claire?", he asked. "Yeah?", she asked. "Have you thought about our time on the island?", Jack asked. Claire remain silent at first, remembering the time that she and Jack got stranded on the deserted island in Hawaii 8 years ago.
"Sometimes, but I rather forget about it.", Claire sighed. Jack's face went down. "But I will never forget the time we first made love on that island.", Claire sighed, looking at him. Jack let out a smile. "Me too.", Jack sighed, as he kisses her, turning it into a passionate make out.
