The girls ran away from the old man's wrath.
"That was close!" Trixie said gasping for breath. "That was exciting!" Tootie exclaimed. "Exciting?! He almost got us killed! Chloe protested.
"I mean it's just like in the books of Sherlock Holmes so mysterious and adventurous." Tootie explained to Chloe. "I'm never going back there again!" Trixie voiced her experience. "But it made me curious." Tootie added.
"Curious about what?" Wanda said as she approached the girls. "Oh Wanda, we spoke to the old man today." Tootie said as she blurted her answer.
"Didn't I tell you all not to disturb him?!" Wanda said in a concerned voice. "We were just trying to be neighbourly, Wanda." Chloe said as she tried to reason Wanda.
"Chloe, Why don't you just listen to me? Don't make yourself into trouble." Wanda scolded the blonde child.
"Go wash up, I made lunch for all: My Bacon Dishes." Wanda told the girls to get ready for lunch.
"Oh no. Wanda has not mentioned her Bacon dishes since I arrived in Dimmsdale. I thought she had totally forgotten about them. "
(Flashback)
"All those times Timmy and I had to eat it." - The scene is from the chapter Bacon Dishes Galore from the story The Neighbourhood Spirit.
(End of Flashback)
"Pure torture..." Chloe muttered in fear. "Sounds Yummy!" Tootie exclaimed over her excitement for lunch.
The girls went inside the Turner house and they ate Wanda's bacon dishes. "Everything for you." Chloe said as she gave her portion to Tootie.
"Aww, Thanks!" Wanda lastly served her dish to Trixie. "How's the food?" Wanda asked Tootie. "Delicious" Tootie said as she tried to hide her disgust over the quality of the dish and to avoid hurting Wanda's feelings.
When Wanda left the house to do errands, that's when the real struggle occurred.
"You tricked me!" Tootie yelled. "You don't like it?" Chloe questioned Tootie. Tootie avoided the question and she stood up from her seat to announce her plan.
"I'm going back to the man's house!" "Forget it! Trixie said as she was trying to enjoy her lunch.
"I can't help it. It's just too interesting, or maybe he's hiding some dark secret." Tootie told Trixie. She then proceeded to make a prayer gesture while whispering "Please." Chloe and Trixie looked at Tootie .
"Eat your Bacon dish!" Chloe exclaimed as she and Trixie gave their portion to Tootie forcing her to sit down to finish her meal.
"Okay, I'll eat it. But you must bring me lots and lots of Chocolate sauce. I'll eat it. Tootie said as she looked at the amount of Bacon on her plate.
