Writing was what I wanted to do, but destiny want me to be a doctor. For me, that’s not a bad thing, it’s just that I don’t want to be a doctor. But they say I will learn to liked it over time. And it’s true. I learn to liked it, but love is different from just being liked.

I am Lara Torres Vergara, I liked saving people’s life, I liked my duties, and my favorite part of the hospital is the operating room. But I was assigned to be at the hospital ward. While I was busy of being an intern doctor, I met a man who gave me love and sparks. And this is my stories…our stories.

“Delivery for Miss Vergara!” I heard a shout from the entrance of the hospital, it grabbed everyone’s attention because of the growing size teddy bear carried by the delivery boy.

I accepted the teddy bear with a frown, I was having trouble carrying it, so I just put it on the floor to sign the form. The delivery boy was about to leave, but I pulled him.

“Sir, may I ask if who is it from?”

“Oh, ma’am, it’s confidential, I’m not allowed to say any information about the sender, I might lose my job in no time,” the delivery boy explained, then turned his back on me and walked away.

Who’s creature that sends this to me? I didn’t have a boyfriend, I mean many wondered, but eventually, they also backed down because maybe they see me busy at work or do they have some other reason.

I carried the oversized teddy bear to our table.

“Hey, madam, what’s that?” Jessie asked me curiously.

“Obviously, it’s a teddy bear, madam!” I laughingly told her.

“Wow! From whom?” Jessie asked curiously.

I frowned at the teddy bear, it didn’t have anything attached or a letter to find out whom it came from.

“I don’t know, madam” I replied sadly to her. While Jessie just looked at me with an annoying smile.

“Wow, finally, someone dared to court you, madam! Such a long hair, madam!” Jessie teased me and poked me, she’d think I was tickled by what she was doing.

“Yup! I’m gorgeous! And it’s only natural for me to have an admirer, excuse me” I laughingly answered her, but there was still a part of me that asked who sent it.

There will be a delivery every day for me even though I didn’t order anything. Once again, there is still lunch for everyone.

“Miss Lara, you’re such a lucky girl with your secret admirers. They always worry you as well as us here bringing us food,” my co-worker said. I just smiled bitterly to them.

I need to talk to who is the sender. And tell him to stop this nonsense.

After weeks, months, and years the same thing still happens. My table is already full of flowers, I just don’t notice that the others have turned trite because of its length. When lunch came someone delivered again for me and for everyone, when it arrived at three in the afternoon, there was more coffee and cake.

It was eight o’clock in the evening when our shift ended. I was squeezing my neck and beating my back because of body pain. I would have liked to take a body massage, but it’s already late at night maybe next time when I have time. The important thing now is to go home and go to sleep.

I was arranging my belongings and clearing the table because of the scattered flower leaves. After I left, I lowered my face to the table to wait for Jessie. I was about to close my eyes when someone suddenly placed a flower on my table.

From the nod, I glanced at the shiny shoe, it didn’t look like a delivery boy because of that. I angrily looked up at the person standing in front of me. From his shoes to the jeans he was wearing, to his khaki T-shirt he was wearing, to his piercing chest, red lips, to his sharp nose, to his long eyelashes. Our eyesight was right, his eyes twinkling as it smiled at me. I just raised an eyebrow at him. Asking him with a frown, I look at him. We stared at each other for a few minutes until--
