WISH
NINETY-NINE MINUTES.
It's been ninety-nine minutes since I was chained here on the freaking street light!
Ninety-nine minutes. Ninety-nine minutes na rin akong naghihintay kay Blaise pero kahit shadow or silhouette niya ay hindi ko man lang makita! He's my only hope now. Crap, but he said that he'll be heading home na.
I'm cold. I'm dripping wet. And I'm alone. What else could go wrong?

He's gonna pay for this! I understand that he's mad at me for fooling him but his accusations--it doesn't make sense.

Pero wala na akong oras para pa isipin ang letcheng 'yon! That grumpy human! I can't make a damn phone call. My phone is on Blaise's car. I have nothing here with me!
Nakaupo lang ako sa sidewalk habang naka-posas ang right hand ko. My head was also leaning on the street light because I'm damn exhausted for screaming just few minutes ago.
Then a miracle happened.
"Baby?"
Napa-angat ang tingin ko sa lalaking nagsalita. Napansin ko rin na wala ng tumutulong ulan. Then I realized that the man has an umbrella with him.
"B-Blaise?" I stuttered. My voice was shaking and hoarse.
Blaise. Blaise Vortex Savino. Nakatayo siya sa harap ko habang may hawak na red umbrella at kape sa kabila niyang kamay. Worry was visible on his eyes as he witnessed my current state.
"Where's the damn key, Wish?" napakagat ako ng labi ko dahil seryoso siya ngayon. It happens once in a blue moon!
I sighed, "L-Lincoln threw it somewhere."
"Esquivel did?!" galit na sigaw niya. He handed me the umbrella and his coffee. "Here, have this. I'll go find the damn key."
"It's useless," giit ko. "I'm already wet. You can have it." I forced a smile kahit na sobrang nanlalamig na ang katawan ko. "I'll take the coffee though," I said and took a sip on his coffee.
"Baby, I can't--" he was in mid-sentence when he stopped. Napataas ang kilay ko dahil binaba niya ang payong. "If you're wet, I shall be wet, too."
With that inapakan niya ang payong hanggang sa masira ito. He winked at me.
"You do realize how lewd that sounds, right?" I asked with a tone of sarcasm on my voice.
"You're seventeen, baby. Still a minor. I can wait," he winked at me for the nth time. Lumapit siya sa 'kin at hinubad ang blazer na suot niya at nilagay sa balikat ko. He must've noticed that I was shivering.
Nagsimula siyang hanapin ang susi sa pamamagitan ng pagtingin-tingin sa lupa. Honestly, he looked stupid.
"Blaise! 'Wag diyan, doon sa kabila niya tinapon!" I instructed him. He nodded at pumunta naman sa direksyon na tinuro ko.
