WISH
HINDI PA RIN ako makatulog kahit midnight na. Kasalanan 'to ni Lincoln! Sa haba ba naman ng tulog ko kanina, paano pa ako makakatulog ngayon? Or perhaps it was because of the lack of thrill for the past few days.
Dahil 12 a.m. na, it's been three days since I had an adventure. Unbelievable. Gagawa na lang ako ng gulo mamaya!
"Wish?" napatingin ako kay ate Wisdom at ate Sabina na kakarating lang. They look exhausted as fuck. They were sweating and I can spot a few bloodstains on their clothes.
"Sabina?" I mimicked.
Nakahiga ako sa couch habang kumakain ng carbonara at nanonood sa Netflix. Tsk, I should've watched on my bedroom instead here in the living room.
"Pahingi nga!" umupo sa tabi ko ang dalawa at inagaw ang pagkain ko. Grr, matatakaw!
"Hoy! Meron pa sobra niyan sa fridge!" angal ko. Madami naman ako nilutong carbonara pero 'yong akin pa talaga napili nilang kainin!
"Eh 'di kunin mo 'yong sa fridge," pabalang na sagot ni ate Wisdom habang nilalantakan ang pagkain ko.
"Anyway, why are you still up?" pag-iiba ng topic ni ate Sabina at uminom ng kape sa cup ko. Mga letche.
"Kasi I'm not down?" I said sarcastically. "Crap, I advise the both of you to take a shower first. Look at you! There's blood on your shirts!"
"No worries, it's not ours," paliwanag ni ate Wisdom kahit punong-puno ng pagkain ng bibig niya.
My half sister sure is something. A headache. She's a headache.
"Which makes it more disgusting!" I screamed. Imposible naman marinig kami ni Kuya Walter dahil soundproof ang lahat ng kwarto. And ate Winter? Nevermind, kahit buhusan siya ng tubig ay hindi 'yon magigising.
"Bwisit, hindi niyo man lang ako sinama." angal ko. Weird though, bakit kaya sila ang magkasama? Sa group namin, may partners na ni-assign. Wisdom's partner is Winter. Sabina's partner is Samantha.
Summer's partner is Sunny and Serenity's partner is Stephanie. Meanwhile, wala akong partner sa group namin. I'm still training someone kaya siya ang na-assign na partner ko.
"You have no idea how exhausting our mission was. We literally ambushed two mafia clans in just one night," Wisdom informed me.
"Fortunately, we successfully completed the mission. Unscathed. Pero si Blaise..." Sabina trailed off, looking at me.
Bigla akong napatayo at kumunot ang noo, "What happened? I trust his hacking skills. There's no way he could have failed."
"That's the point," sabat ni Wisdom. "He joined us. Doon sa bloody scenes--"
"And you let him?!" I blurted out. "Have you lost your mind?"
"Last time I checked, may utak pa naman ako. Ewan ko lang diyan kay Wisdom," pang-aasar ni ate Sabina.
Hinagis ni Wisdom and tinidor kay Sabina. "YOU--"
