Seungwoo POV
A couple of days later, we were back in Seoul after almost two weeks of winter vacation. My wife was crying over a baby clothes of Haneul's while I was cleaning up the apartment.
"Baby."
My wife turned to me with a puffy nose, eyes intent on my face.
"Hmm? What's wrong?"
"Come look at the snow." I smiled and held out my hand. She took it and I pulled her up and into my arm.
"Oh my god. You scared me." She laughed quietly and leaned her head against my shoulder. On the way to the window, I caught a glimpse of us and my wife's protruding belly. In just four months she'll be giving birth to our baby boy, Haru.
It's so cute to think that Haneul is getting quite jealous of her new unborn baby brother just because he's a boy and that she doesn't like boys. She's too ready for a baby sister.
"We're missing a person." She mumbled. "Where is Haneul?"
I creaked open the door to Haneul's room. She was sleeping peacefully in her little bed, arms flung around her stuffed animals.
I laid my wife down next to Haneul and climbed in on her other side. Haneul's bed was positioned right next to a window, so I pulled back the curtain. My wife smiled as Haneul's hand wrapped around her finger unconsciously.
"Baby, look at all this snow." I turned to my wife, a sweet smile curving across my face. "It's beautiful."
She leaned over Haneul and gazed out the window. My hand found its way into her hair.
"It's really pretty. Do you think Haneul will want to play in it?"
"I don't know." I said dubiously. "It seems kind of high. She might get scared."
"But I bought her the cutest little snowsuit." She wheedled.
"Well, we'll just see." I kissed her temple and peeked outside at the ongoing storm. "It's really snowing hard outside."
"Yup." She agreed. "We're trapped in here."
"That can be fun, though. We'll make a day of it." I yawned and plopped back onto the bed. "I'm tired."
"Did you sleep last night?"
"A little. My back hurts from driving all day." I turned to look at her and smiled as I kissed Haneul's hair.
"What are you doing up? Why'd you wake up?"
"It was bright out." I stretched my arm out and we held hands over Haneul's head.
I watched as her eyes fluttered closed and her breathing deepened. Sleepy little wife and sleepy little baby all snuggled up next to me. I reached over and lifted her shirt a little bit, clucking my tongue in worry. Although, my wife had been gaining a lot of weight recently, but she had told me that she hadn't kept up with eating when she's working and then she takes care of Haneul while I was working on my album. She'd always been tired these times. I kind of worried with her health state and her pregnancy because she was already "high-risk" to begin with. So, with all the stress and tension she's been feeling, keeping me anxious. Maybe I would make breakfast. She'd told me how she's been missing my pancakes recently. Maybe I would make pancakes and hot chocolate to keep her away from all the stress for a while.
Just then, my phone began to ring. I sighed and fished it out of my pocket, checking the caller ID. I kissed both of their heads and quietly climbed out of Haneul's bed. My heart beating in nervous anticipation as I saw my manager's name flash across the screen.
