I am still working on my entry for lilspacebirb's contest. It's taking me a bit longer than I first expected, and the idea isn't as good as I would've hoped. At least drawing wise. The story will probably end up being the main focus of *that* chapter. Anyways! I did finish this one. It is admittedly darker than I had intended, but I kinda like it tbh. Adds to the 'horror' element of this drawing!

The two OCs/Personas I used were Jackie and Jayda (Janti). I hardly ever draw my personas, so I thought it'd be fun to use two of them for this one. The OC I picked from PumpkingxAngel's list was Fate! No- I wasn't intending on this one looking like they were a couple or something. In fact- just um- read the short story lmao!

Jackie had already planned out going to her friend's house for the weekend to watch some scary movies

Jackie had already planned out going to her friend's house for the weekend to watch some scary movies. It was nothing romantic about it. Heck, his boyfriend was supposed to show up, but he ended up having work to do today, so it was just Jackie and her friend, Fate. After she showed up to his home, they made a pillow fort of sorts to lay against while they watched the first few scary movies.

Admittedly, a few of the jump scares got Jackie, but she just laughed it off as the movie happening to catch her off guard. Fate, however, seemed unbothered by the movies and their jump scares. As the evening progressed into the night, nothing really changed, except for Jackie going to take a hot shower and Fate getting some more popcorn. Overall, the night wasn't going so bad! Nothing was happening. It was very peaceful.

Then, during one of the horror movies, Jackie huffed and said, "You know. These people are just so dumb and have no sense of survival. How are they not going to look behind them when they feel something watch them and not expect to be killed?" This was just meant to be a joke, but right at that moment, she felt eyes staring at her at the back of her head.

Turning to look at Fate, she saw he was still glued to the TV. Nearby was his phone screen, which was turned off. He must've gotten his boyfriend, Nacht, to have a break and watch with them. Although... why was it turned off?

"Fate? Your phone is off, why are you still holding that pillow up like there's supposed to be something playing?"

He looked at Jackie, then at his phone. "Oh. I didn't even notice. I guess he went back to work." As Fate spoke, a light tapping sound came from the window, making them both turn to look. There was nothing out there, at least from what Jackie and Fate could tell. They turned to each other, shrugged it off and went back to their horror movie marathon.

The feeling of being watch didn't leave Jackie, which started to make her paranoid. She kept glancing at Fate, who just seemed preoccupied with eating the popcorn and watching the movie. Ah, she should probably get a grip on herself. There was nothing wrong. Why would there be? The night continued to progress with that feeling not subsiding, and what was worse was that there were more tapping sounds. No matter how much she looked behind her at the window, she couldn't see anyone or anything. And what was worse was that Fate was starting to accuse her of making those obnoxious sounds. This was starting to turn out like one of the horror movies they saw, which Jackie didn't like.

Finally, at the end of one particular movie, there was a knock at the house door. Looking at each other, Fate got up and went to answer it. It was no one buy some kind of tall, lanky figure. Fate called out to Jackie, telling her to come look at what he was seeing. Sure enough, once Jackie made it to the door, she scoffed and crossed her arms.

"Jayda! Come the hell on! You do this every single time I go to watch a horror movie," She shouted, annoyed at the demon for staring at her and making those noises, "Fate was blaming me for all the noises you were making!"

The lanky demon woman laughed and took on a more human form, amused tears falling down her face, "Oh come on! I got you good! Come on, you can't seriously be that mad at me!"

"Right."

The demon and Fate laughed, so they must've been in on it together. That or Fate really just found it amusing that Jackie had been even a little paranoid and scared. "Whatever. I'm going back inside." The two continued laughing while Jackie went back to the pillow fort thing and mumbled to herself. Fate's phone started ringing, which was most likely Nacht. Whatever, Jackie wasn't answering it.

Little did she know it would be his last call...

Honestly, not the best thing I've ever written, but then again, I'm not a great writer either! And I've never written a horror story before. Anyways, originally, I wanted this to have a less... prankster ending, but I found it more amusing this way. I hope it was okay!

Also- yes, I had to add just a little bit of a horror element. It's *bad*, but again... I hope it's okay! I'm kind of tired now, so um... I'll be going now!
