"ALLY NO!"

Lauren goes to yank Ally off the man but finds that she doesn't have to. Ally was turning over in pain, not feeding.

"Lauren some-something's happening!" Ally falls back and the group sees blood coming from her eyes. Normani attempts to help but Lauren stops her, "Her time is up...she's returning back to a human."

Lauren venom was exiting Ally's body. It had healed her wounds from the inside out and she had fully recovered. Ally cries out as she feels her body changing, and once the pain was too much she passed out.

Lauren goes to her once she hears her heart beating again. "She's back." Lauren quickly gets Ally and picks her up, "Can you two figure this guy out? While I get her home?"

Dinah and Normani look at the still unconscious worker, "Yeah we will make it seem like he fell or something, he will wake up in a few hours." Dinah says.

Lauren nods and takes off with Ally back to their dorm. The entire time Lauren focused on nothing but Ally's beating heart. She was alive. She was warm. She was Ally again. Not the monster that Lauren thought she was.

Being back on campus, Lauren opens the door to their apartment and takes Ally to her room. She changes her clothes for her and puts in her big shirt and shorts. Lauren takes a rag and begins to wipe the blood and dirt off of her face.

Ally flutters her eyes open as Lauren drags a rag gently against her cheek. "I could really go for a burger."

Lauren chuckles and places a kiss on Ally's forehead. "Don't worry, I'll send a text to the dog to stop by and grab something."

Lauren finishes Ally, and Ally sits up and winces at the pain in her body. "I feel like I just went through intense training, my muscles have never been so sore."

"Well you traveled away from campus and back within an hour and a half, any human being who did that would be well a God."

The girls laugh but once it dies down, Ally looks at Lauren. "Lauren...did you mean it by how you want me to be like you if I choose it?"

Lauren grabs Ally's hand, "I want whatever you want... to be honest I think you'd make a fine vampire but not now, there's a bunch you would want to do with your human body."

Ally leans closer and kisses Lauren's jaw, "I could think of a few things..." Lauren breathed deeply at the contact, "Yes I as well...but until it's your time I'll take your beautiful beating heart over anything."

Ally smiled and pulls Lauren for a hug, "I don't know what I'd do without you." Lauren frowns, "Probably wouldn't have a near death experience and tortured for 24 hours straight."

"Don't do that Lauren, it's not your fault...I'd chase after you too if I'm being honest, you're not like anyone or thing I've ever met, I love you with my all my life Lauren."

"Do you really? Do you really love me?"

Lauren has heard it before but it feels new every time she says it. Ally nods, "Yes, I really do."

"I really do too, but can you guys help a bitch out." Dinah interrupts and Lauren helps her get all the food out of her arms. "So Ally, how do we feel?" Normani asks, hugging her friend tight. "First, thank you I'm starving, second, Dinah it's very nice you don't stink anymore."

Dinah rolls her eyes, "Yeah yeah whatever, you're welcome by the way your almost meal smelt like a pack of beer and cigarettes, dragging him around was torture."

The girls all laugh, "If I'm ever given the opportunity again, I'll be sure it's an animal or something." Ally says.

Lauren hearing the possibility of "if" makes her stone cold heart flutter for a second. The thought of Ally actually considering this lifestyle changes a lot.

It be the best thing in Lauren's entire existence if she got to spend forever with Ally.

But for now she can enjoy the human side of her, watching her gobble down a burger was way hotter than her sinking her teeth into anyone else.
