(Y/N) POV

December 29th, 1912 Taisho Period

1:12 am

I kneeled in front of my Father and little sister's graves, I was praying that they get reborn in a new life without that monster or any of the beings he created. I honestly didn't think I could cry any more than I already did but I still cried my eyes out. I stood up and went over to the tree where a bag sat under, it was an old black bag made out of a leather-like material. It was mom's old one.

I had decided that I couldn't stay here, especially if that monster came back. I went to grab the strap of the bag when I paused I looked at my nails. They used to be short and normal, but now they are long, sharp, and (S/T) to (F/C). I had tried breaking them off but they just grew back in a matter of seconds.

I had secured my bag to my back when I smelled something, it was blood. My vision went red, I had no longer any control of my body, I was bolting threw the forest, when I came up to the destination I saw something.

It was a demon. It was preying on a small child with shaggy brown hair and hazel eyes. The kid was holding a hatchet and had a slice on his cheek, presumably from the demon's claws. I saw the demon and it was quite an ugly thing. It had long straight navy blue hair, veins popping out of his head, and yellow eyes.

Its arm had been chopped off and as soon as I saw that I realized I wasn't going after the boy. The scent of the demon's blood brought out my instincts, the demon was my prey.

The demon jumped at the boy and the boy hid his face with his arms. My instincts took over my body I kicked the demon away from the boy and quickly jumped in front of the child, glaring at the demon. I didn't take my eyes of the demon,

"Kid, go home."

The kid nodded fast and turned and ran back to where assumably his house was. The demon groaned when it got up. I had kicked him square in the middle of the head and it had flung to the tree effectively smashing the back of his head. His head was steaming while healing his injuries.

When he blinked his head dashed around looking for the child.

"Where did he go-" His eyes landed on me, he began growling like a dog protecting its property, "You damn low-level demon, who do you thi-"

He paused for some reason, I recognized the look in his eyes. FEAR.

He looked terrified,

"W-why do y-yo-"

He was cut off.

A red wave, about 3 feet long, came and sliced the demon's head off. I was shocked, then a person came out of the forest, she had shoulder-length black hair and brown skin. She was wearing a white sleeveless kimono-like top, a crimson skirt that went to a little bit lower than her knees, a crimson obi, bandages going from her wrists to her elbows, a fox-like mask that covered her entire face, and a sword sheath at her hip.
