In the nation of Panem, lies an awe-inspiring Capitol surrounded by twelve districts. Each year, the districts are each made to send one girl and one boy between the ages of twelve and eighteen to the Capitol, in punishment for a past rebellion. These twenty-four children are thrown into an arena, forced to fight each other until only one is left alive.
The victors of these Games are forever changed, their innocence stripped away. Every year they return to the Capitol to train a new batch of tributes, sending them off to their deaths over and over again.
In District 7, lives an eighteen-year-old girl. She has no friends, and only one person loves her. This girl, Iris Gilardi, is reaped for the 68th annual Hunger Games. She wins, despite the odds, returning to her home with more scars than even a trip through the arena could provide.
Iris wants nothing more than for the suffering to stop, by any means necessary. That is, until one victor manages to worm his way into her heart. Can she be saved, or is it already far too late?
Ashley Frangipane as Iris Gilardi
