Betrayed: A Percy Jackson Story

Is there still Hope?

Thalia's POV: 

I looked at Percy in shock. I was angry. How dare he kiss my mistress. I knew he was a kelp head, but this was too far. Rey stood beside me. We actually became somewhat friends during this time. She was a great fighter, and it was a shame she wouldn't join the Hunters. 

"Thalia I can explain-" Percy began. However, I shut him up effectively by shoving a spear into his face, the sharp point hitting Percy's left eye. Percy stumbled backwards and collapsed onto the floor.  I immediately felt bad. I didn't want to hurt him this badly. 

"What do you want to explain Percy? HUH? You kissed a MAIDEN GODDESS! MY MISTRESS! YOUR NO BETTER THAN ANY OTHER MALE!" I screamed at him

Percy used the wall for support. He was able to stand. His eye was bleeding profusely. I saw Artemis quickly join my side and she slapped Percy. Hard. Rey immediately didn't like this, and ran to Percy's defense. This confused me. Perhaps she was ordered to protect him or something like that? 

*Third Person POV*

"How dare you, Male. You kissed a Maiden goddess." Artemis growled out. 

"Oh Yes he did." A hooded figure laughed as he merged out of the shadows. "Such a pity he will have to die by the hand of the one he loves." 

Percy turned bright red, but still looked at the cloaked figure with confusion and fear. 

"Who are you and what do you want?" Percy asked. 

"My Boy. I came for you." As the man stepped out into the light, the underside of his face could be seen. Lines etched into his face, perhaps from an accident. A crooked, sinister grin revealed his yellow stained teeth. As he lifted his hood, his eyes glowed a bright orange. 

"You. Your the one Master Luke feared. Your the one they talked about." Rey said fearfully, taking a defensive stance with her hand over her saber. "Your Emperor Palpatine." 

In one swift motion, Palpatine knocked out Thalia and Artemis, effectively not allowing the two Jedi to get backup. Percy tried to stand and help Rey, but Palpatine sent him flying into a wall. Percy slumped over, knocked out cold. 

"Young Jedi, you will meet the same fate as your former master." Palpatine shot a burst of force lightning, aiming at Rey, She was quick to whip out her lightsaber to deflect it. As she inched closer to Palptine, he drew his own saber. 

"Young Jedi, you will die." With that, the two rushed into battle. Blood red met Sky Blue as the two battled out. Palpatine struck a hard blow to Rey's shoulder, but Rey was able to deflect. As the battle dragged on, Palpatine was slowly, but surely, weakening the young Jedi. 

"Your inexperience shows. Allow me to complete your training." Palptine said cackling. 

"NEVER!" Rey went for a risky jab at Palpatines stomach, in which he easily deflected. Rey's lightsaber was flung across the room. Defenseless, Palpatine swung at Rey's arm. She screamed, and then fell to the floor. 

Palpatine turned his attention to Percy, who was attempting to stand. 

"Ah good, Good!" The Emperor said, letting out a sinister laugh. "Join me, young one. Only I can help you to unlock the secret to unlimited power and glory." 

"Never. I'll never join you." 

"Then you will die." 

Then, Palptine shot a burst of force lightning at Percy. Percy was able to deflect some of it with his Lightsaber. The rest was shot into the ceiling, where a large hole was now gaping. 

Palpatine looked at the boy with wonder. If only he could train him and seduce him to the dark side of the force. His thoughts were cut short when Percy charged him. 

Once again, Sea green met Blood red as the two began to battle out. Percy and Palpatine exchanged blows before the young hero was disarmed. As he lie on the floor, Palpatine lifted his saber. 

Time seemed to stop as Percy thought of everyone he loved. Everyone he failed. As he began to close his eyes, his vision blacked out. The last thing he heard was a door opening and Palpatine whispering: 

"We will meet again, Young Jedi." With that, Percy Jackson, two time savior of Olympus, Jedi, and Hero, was dead. 

*Line Break* 

Third Person POV: 

Leia went back to the tent Chiron had prepared for her. It was a kind gesture, and she and Han had been using it, refusing to use Artemis' cabin. She thought about Poe. He was a sweet man. Someone who fought for justice. Then, her best friend had not been strict enough on her hunt, and he was killed. Chewbacca was already in distress, with Han trying to calm him down. 

"What is going on here?" Finn asked. He had been crying this entire time. "Why do we just trust her again? We can't. Poe is dead. WHY?!" He began to sob some more. 

Rey had entered the tent. We all knew she had her eyes on Finn. She ran over and hugged him. Finn, being too weak to object, hugged back. Rey whispered soothing words into his ear. While she was doing this, she broke the news to Leia. 

"Master Leia, Percy Jackson is dead." 

"What? Impossible. I would have felt-". As Leia to speak, she felt a disturbance in the force, the same kind when Luke died. However, this felt more violent, as Luke's death was a more peaceful feeling. 

"Hes back, the one Master Luke feared." 

"Yes. The Emperor has returned."

*Line Break* 

*Across the Country*

As my ships of super Star Destroyers pulled up upon Camp Jupiter, I watched the Scene below. Such a pity we will have to slaughter hundreds of lives, many our own troops. However, this is for the greater good. 

"On your command my lord." 

"Fire." With that order, an encampment was blown to shreds, three of the Hero's of Olympus down with it. Camp Jupiter had been blown up by my newly assembled fleet. We had created a new type of technology. One that could destroy small sections of a planet. 

"Yes. It has been done." I sneered sisterly. 

*Line Break*

Jason's POV: 

Me and Piper stormed into Artemis' Cabin. I was met with a scene that made my blood boil- Percy lying on the floor, bloody and beaten, with Artemis and Thalia knocked out, and Rey barley conscious. 

"What is going on?" I growled. Piper put a hand on my shoulder, in an attempt to calm me down. Not happening. 

"Uh Jason-" Thalia began. She was interrupted with a Nico who seemed like he had ran the Boston Marathon three times without water. 

"It happened. They blew up Camp Jupiter." 

"WHAT?" Piper shouted. My mind instantly drifted off to Frank, Hazel, and Reyna. Were they ok? 

"Are they alright? Where are Hazel, Frank, and Reyna?" I asked, panicking. 

Nico looked at me with sad eyes. A grave expression on his face spoke the words for him. They were gone. Hades had claimed them. 

"No." Piper whispered. Tears began to well up in her multi-color eyes. First Percy, now this? 

"NOO!" I screamed. Lightning rained down from the heaven's. Who ever did this, will pay. Piper looked at me. I wasted no time in hugging her. Leo ran to us, along with Will. They looked at us strangely before seeing Percy. Nico broke the news about Hazel, Frank, and Reyna. 

Leo was the first to join Piper and my hug. Then Nico and will joined. We stood there, holding on to whatever hope we had left. We would avenge Percy, Hazel, Frank, and Reyna. We would win the war for the countless Romans killed by these people. 

I would kill the person in charge personally. He deserved the worst Hades had to offer.
