Betrayed: A Percy Jackson Story

The Comeback

Percy's POV: 

"Annabeth?" I stood there stunned. What did she want? I thought she had a new boyfriend. A sudden feeling of hope ignited inside of me. Maybe I could get her back? Wait. She cheated on me. I can't just go back to her. 

"Hey, Uh, I just wanted to talk Percy." 

"TALK? ABOUT WHAT? YOU BROKE ME! YOU BETRAYED ME! YOU DESTROYED ME! HOW CAN YOU JUST COME HERE AND ACT LIKE IT'S ALL NORMAL?" 

"P-Percy I wanted to-" I cut her off with a blast of water. 

"No Annabeth. Not now. I don't want to hear you apology. I haven't forgiven you yet. Maybe I will in time. Not now though." 

With that, I left Annabeth in the middle of the docking bay. I left to the Command station to find Piper, Jason, Leo, and Nico. Nico was able to shadow travel out and avoid the invasion of Camp. I walked into the Command Area to see Piper and Jason sitting in a corner. Jason was talking to Leo, and Leia and Piper were playing with Haliey. 

"Hey Perce. What happened?" Jason asked. He quickly looked over at his wife and daughter to make sure they were ok. It always amazes me the amount of love Jason has for his family. 

"The spy is on board." I responded. 

"Really? How do you know?" Leo asked. 

"A feeling." 

*Line Break* 

Third Person POV: 

The Resistance was making it's way to Tackodona. The docking bays were full, and the mechanics scurried about. Among them, a quiet girl named Rose oversaw all of the operations. Rose never liked attention. In this war, she had grown quite accustomed to Finn, her only friend and her big crush. They had braved a First Order Command ship together, flew a speeder on Crait, and had traveled around the Galaxy in search of a code breaker to save the fleet. 

The best memory to Rose however, was the kiss her and Finn had shared on Crait. The speeder Finn was flying was attempting to make a suicide run down the First Order's battering ram cannon, which would have spelt certain doom for the Resistance. Rose flew her speeder into Finn's and saved his life, which resulted in Rose kissing him. 

She was shaken out of her thoughts by an intercom message, which was saying to meet in the meeting room. She gathered her teams and walked to the meeting room. The Gods, citizens of Olympus, and demigods were already there. The Resistance fighters were lined up. A large screen was being lowered, and Leia stood up to the microphone. 

"Good evening. Tonight, I wish I could say we were gathered to celebrate. Unfortunately, tonight, we are gathered here to mourn the losses of The Roman, Greek, and Resistance Hero's who are no longer with us. Before we begin our speeches and prayers, let us begin by playing a Tribute, put together by Admiral Akbar and Vice Commander Smith. 

*Jason's POV*: 

I settled into my seat with Piper and Haliey. The Screen started to play a song called 'See you again' by John Legend. The opening picture was one of Hazel, Frank, and Reyna waving to a fading Argo II in the sunset. Then, a picture of Jason, Percy, Leo and Frank all racing to the top of an obstacle course. Next, a picture of Poe and another Pilot laughing, as Finn and Rey were throwing cake at them. More pictures flashed and the song changed to 'Say something'. More pictures flashed by. 

"Your the one that I loved, and i'm saying goodbye...."
