"Are you guys even listening to me right now? We all have to attend tonight for this to work" Ruby claps his hands trying to gain our attention.

"Wait, just one more" we laugh as Jamal starts to play another episode but Ruby quickly snatches the remote away from him.

"Hey, we were watching that. One more episode isn't going to hurt, its not like we have anything else to do" Monse rolls her eyes as the rest of us nod our heads agreeing with her.

"Yea come on," Cesar starts but gets interrupted by Ruby.

"No, you guys said one more episode two episodes ago. At this rate we're never going to stop watching that show. Now will you guys listen to me. Follow me to my room" he turns off the T.V. and walks away getting impatient.

"Fine whatever" Jamal mutters as we all get up and follow Ruby to his room.

"Good, you guys actually followed. As I was saying, we all need to attended tonight for my plan to work" Ruby explains while closing his door.

"What plan?" Monse questions.

"Wait, we have something planned for tonight?" I ask confused looking up from my phone.

"Well I see some of you weren't listening," he glares at Monse and me, "yes, we are going to Talia's party tonight. If you were listening, I said we all need to go, so you guys can hype me up with hynas" he pops his collar smirking, admiring himself in the mirror.

"Why would we do that?" Monse burst out laughing.

"Yea, I brought my new board game over. How are we supposed to play it if we're at some party trying to help you get with a random desperate girl?" Jamal scratches his chin thinking out loud.

Ruby widens his eyes and scoffs offended by Jamal's question while the rest of us laugh. I mean Jamal is making valid points.

"You know who you don't have to try hard to impress or need us to hype you up around? Jasmine" I smirk and shrug my shoulders, already knowing how he'll react.

"Very funny, Lana" he sarcastically smiles and rolls his eyes at me.

"It's true though, you should give her a chance. She's a really cool person and a good friend" I truthfully say, shrugging my shoulders again.

"Hold up, did you say it's at Talia's house?" Cesar speaks up. We all nod our heads, "then we're not going, her house is on Prophet territory" Cesar shakes him head and leans back onto the wall.

"Yea, if it's on Prophet territory then we're definitely not going to that party, sorry Ruby" Jamal scratches his head and shifts uncomfortably.

"No, I doubled checked and her house is actually in neutral territory. She lives on Main Street" he proudly informs us.

"If it's neutral territory, then there is probably going to be both Prophets and Santos members tonight" Monse says still concerned.

"I've been to Talia's parties before and yea both gangs are usually there, but neither of them start anything since it's neutral space. They don't even acknowledge each other, we'll be fine" I reassure them trying to ease their nerves.

"Exactly, nothing is going to happen" Ruby pauses and smirks, "except my getting it with a fine ass hyna."

"Don't get ahead of yourself" Jamal scrunches his nose.

"Poor girl, I hope she has low expectations" Monse whispers to me causing us to giggle.

"Okay, so is it settled? We are all going tonight?" Ruby eagerly looks at us waiting for an answer.
