Hi everyone! The whole concept of different names and creatures is a little confusing, so here is a breakdown of the creatures, their powers and weaknesses, and other things about them which would be helpful for context!
MOONLANDERS
~ witches basically
~ Important Moonlanders: Alvaro and Maud Blackwood (mix of Moonlander and Celion), and Crystal (she doesn't have powers, read to find out why)
~ Purple eyes and Gray-Silver Hair
~ POWERS: can do spells, travel or transport, control dead, siphon magic from other objects and/or people
~ WEAKNESSES: emotion, distraction, overexertion (can kill them), mortality, power-sealing
ZATHS
~ werewolves basically
~ Important Zaths: Affron and Hedwig's father
~ Red eyes and Black Hair
~ POWERS: super-strength, can change from wolf to human so they possess all wolf strengths, always in groups (all zaths have these powers)
~ WEAKNESSES: pure silver (if pure silver is stabbed or shot into their hearts, Zaths can die), weapons/ammo
SERIONS
~ Kind of like mermaids, but more
~ Important Serions: Aquata and Nebula
~ Blue eyes and Red Hair
~ POWERS: transform from sea to human, talk to animals, superhuman strength, enchantment, manipulate weather
~ WEAKNESSES: dehydration (can kill them), fire or sunlight (can also kill them), extreme love (they lose their ability to reason, literally blinded by love)
CHEREANS
~ Have mind abilities
~ Important Chereans: Hedwig and Hedwig's mother, Lurnara (the Queen)
~Emerald eyes and Brown Hair
~ POWERS: read minds, manipulate minds (like illusions or hallucinations), hypnotize people, virtually travel to places (all chereans have all these powers)
~ WEAKNESSES: witch curses, shine moonlight through a gold blade into the center of the forehead (that's how they die), distraction or loss of focus
CELIONS
~ soothsayers basically, but more
~ Important Celions: Lexon (King of Celions), Maud Blackwood (mix of Celions and Moonlanders)
~ Amber eyes and Blonde Hair
~ POWERS: can see future and past, see alternate realities, they are very wise
~ WEAKNESSES: loneliness, revenge drives them insane, damaged eyes (if one eye is damaged, they lose their powers, but if both are damaged, they die)
