Luna's POV

10:02 am, Thursday

"So...that Phoenix guy?" Nathaniel asked as he took one more bite of the delicious salmon.

"Who?" I answered. Obviously confused about the 'guy' he was reffering to.

"You know, that phoenix guy." He repeated as he wiggled his eyebrows at me.

"Okay, just because you keep saying 'that phoenix guy', doesn't make me know who the bitch is."

He rolled his eyes at me as he wipe his mouth with a napkin.

"You don't remember him, do you?" He raised his eyebrows as he placed his elbow on the table.

"Would I be asking you who he is if I already fucking knew the guy?" I asked as I drank my orange juice.

"The guy you were with last night." He continued, trying to make me remember who 'Phoenix' was.

"You were even leaning on him when I found you."

I gave him a 'go on' look so as to show him I am still confused about who he's talking about.

"He carried you to the car, he even told me you drank two bottles worth of alcohol." He told me as he gave me a disappointed look.

"That explains the horrible hangover." I realized while I rubbed my head.

He looked at me expectantly, as he anticipated my realization about the events of last night.

"Yeah doesn't ring a bell."

He sighed, leaning against the chair while he pouted.

"He was cute though." He added.

"Aww, maybe you should date him." I taunted as I stood up from my chair and walked away.

"You witch." He called out as I opened the door.

"And yet, you still love me." I answered and giving him the middle finger while at it.

I heard him laugh as I finally left the room.

It's fun having a 57 year old man as your best friend.

While walking, one of my men approached me. Trembling as he avoided my gaze.

I wasn't even glaring at him.

despite the hang over, I was actually in a good mood.

"M-my q-queen, yo-your capos are here to see you." He informed.

Oh right, the log.

I gave him a nod and told him that I'll be their shortly as I went straight to my room to change.

My head was still throbbing.

I don't even know how people handle hangovers.

I finally reached my room and walked towards the closet.

"So much for being a lazy day." I whispered to no one as I contemplated on what to wear this time.

I chose a black off shoulder fitted dress and a red blazer.

Along with some black heels and sunglasses to match my attire.

Who even wears fucking sunglasses indoors?

I finally took my gun and fled the room.

I could've just worn a onesie for this meeting.

I thought as I finally reached the meeting room.

The room was filled with men in black suits. Their chattering was loud similar to women gossiping about some shit.
