Roman's POV

4:48 pm, Tuesday

"Okay, how about this.." The woman spoke as she presented another outfit and placing it in front of her for me to judge.

This time, it was a black strapless fitted dress.

"Do you have other colored cloths instead of just black?" I asked as I layed down on the other side of the bed, while Luna practically brought out every cloths she had in her closet.

"And since when did you value my opinion about what you wear?" I added as I watch her place another dress in front of her.

"Cause it's either you or Nathaniel, and you know the old geezer has zero taste." She placed yet another black dress in front of her.

"I barely even knew the guy!"

"Just help me, please?" She begged, staring me down with her huge violet eyes.

As I rolled my eyes at her, I crawled to the other side of the bed and handed her an outfit that I knew she'll like.

She squilled once she held on to the beautiful attire and ran straight to her walk in closet.

I leaned on the door frame and watched her enter the fitting room, which only covered her shoulder down.

"What are you even dressing up for?" I asked as she started stripping down, causing me to look away.

I could feel my face getting redder when I realized Luna was practically naked inside.

"N-nothing....j-just business." She responded hesitantly, followed by a nervous laugh.

"Bitch I'm your underboss. If it were about business, I would have atleast knew a little bit of info about this meeting you're talking about." I stated, making her tense up.

"I have a life outside of you, ya kno-"

"I know you're going out with Phoenix." I interrupted. Not even bothering to know her excuse. As she heard those words roll of my mouth, she whipped her head towards me with her eyes wide from surprise.

She was caught in a lie.

"I...I.." She stuttered, probably thinking of a better excuse to say next.

"Luna, I don't think it's a good idea. You're aware that the guy hates you, right?" I reasoned as I tried to talk her way out of it.

She turned around once more and continued to wear the outfit I've set up.

As she finished dressing up, she took one last glance on the mirror and exited the fitting room.

I was in awe, the simple long sleeved off shoulder crop top(that was a mouthful) exposed her well defined collarbone.

Her army cargo black pants showcasing her slim and small waist.

To pull her outfit together, she wore this high cut black boots with little studs of diamonds embeded to it.

My mouth was ajarred as I watch her go into the corner of the room and openning up this hidden compartment filled with guns and knives.

She took two hand guns and placed them in her gun belt. Along with a black pocket knife that she carefully slid down in her right pocket.

As she finished getting ready, she walked towards me and spoke.

"I know you think this is a bd idea, and I don't care." She paused.

Such a bitch.

"And it's not a date. He's just...making it up for me." She bluntly explained.

"Bu-"

Right before I could even finish my sentence, she turned me around and started pushing me to the door.

I then grabbed the door frame and confronted her.

"He'll be your downfall, Luna. Stop thinking this will end up with you to getting married in a beautiful church or some fantasy shit." I told her, but she refused to listen to reasons.

"Bye bye now!" She uttered as she slammed the door in front of me and left me there bewildered.

How am I gonna protect her if I'm not there?

1:08 am, Tuesday

As I was about to exit my office, I heard a commotion right outside my room.

"I DON'T NEED YOUR FUCKING PITY!" A woman yelled. Followed by a comotion of what I thought was hitting and pushing.

It's Luna.

But who was she yelling at?

As curiosity has fully endulged me, I peeked outside to see what was happening.

I bet it's one of the maids.

But as I peered my head outside, my heart suddenly dropped.

Phoenix was kissing Luna.

I quickly pulled myself back to the room.

Placing my hand on my mouth to stiffle a cry.

I thought Luna was finally falling for me, but I guess I was wrong.

So wrong.

Luna's POV

5:53 pm, Tuesday

I finally finished my make up and was now dressed up. I then glanced in front of the mirror, checking if I looked presentable enough.

I think this is a little bit over the top.

I thought as I checked my dark tinted lips and the purple clip on streaks in my hair.

Why did I even dressed up this much? It'snot like I'm trying to impress him or something. More on scaring the shit out of him cause I looked like a serial killer.

Well, it's too late to change my outfit anyways.

I didn't even bothered to bring a purse, so I took one last look in the mirror and headed out.

It's weird that I felt nervous about this whole thing with Phoenix.

Kind of like a bad feeling sort of vibe.

As I exited my way out of the mansion, I was then faced with Phonenix who was leaning against the car.

He looked so fine.

His hair was in its usual messy style.

He wore a white hoodie and was overlayed with a red flannel.

I could feel my face heating up, but quickly hid it so as to not show him how affected I was by his appearance.

He then opened the door for me.

I looked at him dead in the eye and scoffed.

"Let's just get this over with." I then sat myself down in the pasenger seat as I waited for Phoenix to enter the car.

Fuck, I don't think I can do this.

I was nervous. Like, really fucking nervous.

He finally turned the engine on and waited for it to heat up.

As we await for the car to be ready, Phoenix glanced at me up and quickly returned his gaze up front.

"You look nice." He complimented.

Yup, I'm ruined.

"I know." I frankly answered as I tried my best to hide my cherry colored face.

As an awkward silence filled the car, a questioned popped in my head.

"Is this a date?"
