Too Much

There is a time where you realize it's too much
Too much pressure
Too much sadness
Too much thought
It was good, fun, and nice
Time wears all down
Stripping the laughs, the smiles, the butterflies
Becoming a house with no walls
You realize the rain you crave is the acid
The rain you remember being so fresh, clean and crisp
It starts to burn, to hurt
You keep drinking desperately hoping for the drink you once had
You don't realize the water is contaminated
Every inch. It can only bring pain
Anything in large amounts can kill you
Anything can be too much
