We drove straight to Bharat's office, the tension between us almost palpable. Once inside, I quickly recounted everything: the accident, my memory returning, and the conversation I saw between the people by the truck.

Bharat listened intently, his expression hardening as I spoke. "This is serious, Karthik. If what you say is true, we're dealing with something premeditated. We need to act fast."

I nodded. "We can't wait. We have to find the truck driver and his apprentice. We need a sketch artist to help create their profiles. I can describe them in detail."

Bharat immediately called in a police sketch artist, and I began describing the two men I saw: their height, build, clothing, and any unique features. Each detail I remembered made the reality of the situation hit harder. This wasn't just an accident—it was a planned attack, and someone out there wanted me gone.

Bharat placed a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "We'll do everything we can. We'll find them and get answers. But you need to stay calm for now and not let Shivani or anyone else know until we're sure of the details."

I nodded, feeling a mixture of relief and determination. "Agreed. I won't tell anyone yet. I need to find the truth first. But once I do... I'll make sure the person responsible is held accountable."

Rahul looked at me, concern still in his eyes. "Are you sure you can handle this? It's dangerous, Karthik. And Shivani ... she'll be hurt if she finds out later."

I clenched my jaw. "I'll protect her at all costs. But first, I have to find out who did this. Then... then I can worry about how she reacts."

Bharat assured us he would follow up immediately once they found any lead on the truck driver and his apprentice. As we left the office, I felt a renewed sense of purpose. The accident had taken six months from my life, but it had also given me clarity. I remembered my love for Shivani, my friends, and my life. And now, I had to fight not just to protect them, but to uncover the truth behind the orchestrated attack that nearly took my life.
