NO YOU CAN'T EAT MY HAIR!

Natsu had been part of our guild for about 10 years now. He'd grown up quite a bit physically, as for maturity... He seems to have less of it than before. Ivory's gone out on another job but I'm more than capable of looking after myself now. As I walk into the guild I hear him and Happy talking about something to do with a Salamander in Hargeon and that it might be Igneel. Hargeon... I've been meaning to go there for a while. I walk over, my arms folded. "Mind if I tag along?" Natsu turns, obviously confused. "But why would you wanna go anywhere with us?" I roll my eyes. "It's not like I WANNA go with you, I just have business in Hargeon and you need someone to apologise to all the people on the train that you throw up over." His face pales at the thought of the train. I sigh "Get your stuff and hurry up."I turn to the Master." I'll make sure he doesn't destroy anything.... Or I'll try to at least. "We laugh before Me and Natsu head out of the guild towards the train station.

It's a long, sweaty, puke filled train ride but we finally reach Hargeon. We'll, at least me and Happy do. Natsu is so incapacitated he doesn't get off the train in time. I see him almost crying from the window and can't contain my laughter. It's so funny that someone so powerful can be knocked down by travel. Happy goes to help him while I try to catch my breath. Once he's been brought off the train and has regained his composure I wipe my eyes. He scowls "Whatcha laughing at matchstick?" I grab a fistful of his shirt, raising my fist "Look who's talking, pinkie." Happy sighs. "Guys, come on or we might miss Igneel." Natsu immediately stands down. I scoff and let go of his shirt, stuffing my hands in the pockets of my shorts. "Fine, let's hurry up so we can get this over with. I have things to do." Natsu grumbles under his breath, walking past me. I stick my foot out to trip him up. He stumbles but catches himself, scowling at me. I flash him a smirk before continuing to walk around town.

Our journey is soundtracked by Natsu and Happy's stomachs rumbling. I groan as they complain yet again about being hungry. "Maybe if you two weren't such pigs, you wouldn't be hungry." A wind catches my hair, sending the flames crazy. Natsu's nose twitches before he starts drooling. "Your hair looks so yummy right now... Can I eat some... Please?" I stop, clenching my jaw to stop from punching him. "I don't know how many times I've told you, Flame brain, I'm no your person picnic basket. I don't go with you on missions just so you can stock up when you're feeling low. No, you cannot eat my hair!" He let's out a small squeak "Sorry." Just up ahead I hear commotion, people screaming about a Salamander. My eyes raise. "I think we've found your guy." Natsu rushes forwards, leaving me to trail behind him. I don't stick close. I wouldn't want people thinking I'm associated with him. He goes rushing into the crowd of girls surrounding someone before being chased by them. I, again, can't help but laugh. This is what he gets for opening his stupid mouth. Once the crowd has cleared, a blonde girl comes over. I stand, wiping the tears from laughter once again. The girl introduces herself. "Thank you so much, you really saved me back there. Is there any way I can repay you?" Natsu and Happy both look at eachother and smile. I chuckle and turn. "Be careful, they'll eat through your wallet." I walk away from them to go complete the task that brought me to Hargeon.

I make my way out of the flower shop holding the most beautiful bouquet of blue roses I've ever seen. They're her favourite so I'm sure she'll love them. I haven't visited her in a while, I hope she's happy to see me. I make my way over to her, setting the flowers in the vase beside her. "Hey Mum, I'm sorry it's been so long. I've been super busy with the guild. Me and Ivory are doing okay. She's still teaching me how to control my magic properly. I hope that if I work hard enough I'll be able to get into the runnings for S-Class so I can help her on missions. Wouldn't that be cool?" I smile as the wind whistles, tousling the flames on my head. I crouch down, brushing the dust off the stone and running my finger over her name."We miss you mum. We miss you a lot. I hope you're proud of us." I stay there for a few seconds before I hear footsteps behind me. I stand and smile, my back still to them. "You full now Fire Breath? Come on, let's explore Hargeon before we head home." I turn to see Natsu grinning widely, Happy floating at his side. I gently kiss my hand and touching it to the top of the stone. "Until next time, mum." I follow Natsu and Happy into town. While they annoy the everloving hell out of me, I'm certain they're always gonna be there for me when I need it. I'm glad I can count on them.
