Rest

I didn't realize I fell asleep throughout the ride. I woke up as soon as the car went to a halt. My head lifted up from Seulgi's lap to see the parking lot under their building.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Irene asks me as she unbuckles her seatbelt. I nodded to her as she looks at the rear view mirror to see me.

Wendy gets out of the car and opens the door to my side. They all walked me to the lobby as they watched every bit of movement I made. I felt conscious but relieved they were still caring for me even if I regained my motor skills.

We got to their apartment door. Irene unlocks the door as Seulgi clings her arm unto mine. We walked in to be greeted by Joy who was on the sofa waiting.

"Unnie, you went out? Without me?" She asks, assuming that Irene left her without a notice.

"There was... an emergency." Irene answers. "What happened?" Joy shifts her body towards us.

"Y/N's fine now. He just needs to rest." Seulgi says, still clinging unto my arm. She brings me out of the living room, walking towards the hall that led to their rooms.

"You didn't answer m-" Joy in the distance says, left without a clear explanation to why the three of them showed up together.

Where are we going? "You need to rest. You barely got any sleep." Seulgi says. Her voice is so calming. I almost forgot what they both did to me earlier, which caused all of this to happen.

My heart felt heavy, like I was betrayed. But it wasn't to the point where I was sulking. It just felt weird they planned to do that without telling me.

Seulgi opens the door to her room, leaving Irene and Wendy outside the door. "Get some rest, Y/N." Irene says from the door. "Yeah." Wendy adds.

Seulgi closed the door gently on them, the two taking their last glimpses of me before the wall blocks their view.

I- I'm in her room. It's.. Like what I saw during their reality show. The room was cozy and small. Her bed was fitted in between the walls. It was big enough for one and a half individuals.

"Have some rest on the bed. I'll fix you something to drink." She says before turning to move away. I held her wrist for her not to take a step further.

"Could you stay with me for a bit?" I said softly. Even that made my heart skip a beat.

I pulled her closer to the edge of the bed, her arms dangled helplessly as I held her by the waist.

I placed my head against her belly as I gripped her waist with my arms. "Thank you." I said.

"For what? I- I caused all of this." She asks.

"Yet you still stuck by me when things went south. You even called Irene who barely knows how to drive to bring me to a hospital." I said, overcoming the shortcomings that happened earlier on. Even if she made a mistake, she owned up to it.

"I- I'm so sorry, Y/N. I just wanted to make the moment interesting and memorable." She says, explaining the motive of her and Wendy's plan.

"I see. So you guys were just doing it for fun?" I asked.

back to before they went camping.

"Seungwan!" Seulgi shouts from her bedroom, in hopes of getting Wendy's attention who was rooms away from her.

In the faint distance she replies, "What?!" in the same intonation.

Seulgi gives up and just texts Wendy through her phone.
