I woke up with a strange blur, like I'd been drugged.

Wolfsbane

Kiera growled. She seemed pretty upset, but I couldn't hear her quite right. She sounded distant, like she was in another world her voice got deformed.

Kiera?

She responded but it was so vague I couldn't make out what she was saying. It was a strange sensation, so quiet and lonely. I didn't like it one bit. My head ached and my lungs felt poorly functioning, just like my heart.

My heart was pounding unevenly against my ribcage and I was soaked with sweat. My body didn't respond well to stress and anxiety. I glanced around the poorly lit room. I seemed to be completely alone but I still felt as if someone or something was watching me. I inhaled the air but the wolfsbane cut off my hearing abilities and smell.

I was placed on a leather chair and a rough blanket was placed over me. The room was different from before, instead of white the room was dirty and gloomy. There were a few creepy paintings hung on the wall. One was of a titan eating a human, underneath it was written : "Chronos".

There was a fireplace in a dark corner that gave me the chills, something about it made me feel...uneasy. I looked away quickly and noticed the carpet on the floor, the ivory and navy coloured pattern was lightened up with a dark brown reddish colour. I squinted my eyes and stared intently at the red dots.

I yelped.

It wasn't the pattern on the carpet, it was blood. Dried blood stains speckled the soft fabric. I shot up my legs and hugged my knees on the chair. The room was terrifying.

Where was Hunter, or my abducter for that matter? Where was I and why? What did I do?

Tears slid down my cheeks and I started crying softly. Burying my face in my knees  I noticed I was shaking violently, shivering from top to bottom.

Because I was crying I barily heard the loud thud coming from the chimney. It sounded like something was moving, in the chimney. My eyes widened and I got to my feet, backing away from the fireplace. My breath hitched and the tears stopped, I was surprised I hadn't had a heart attack yet. Not letting my eyes wonder off the firplace I searched for a weapon or something else I could defend myself with.

A deep growl perked up my ears and I held in my breath, something was most definetly crawling down the chimney. Panick and anxiety took away my reasoning and I started screaming manically. I was absolutely hysteric, and all I wanted was to get the hell out of there.

A louder growl surfaced from the fireplace and I noticed two clawed hands sticking from the outside. My stomach dropped and if I had eaten anything  I would have thrown up.

Slowly its face appeared, staring at me with its nightblack eyes. The half human half wolf climbed out of the chimney with heavy breaths. Its weird hairy arms were crazy long and reached to his knees where they became clawed hands.

His legs were bend unnaturally and moved weirdly every time it took a step towards me. "Help!" I yelled as I pounded on the wall I was leaning onto. "Help, me please!" I sobbed desperately. But the thing growled again and stalked towards me, its back bent in a sharp angle.

When it was close enough I could smell its disgusting warm breath, it smelled metallic, like blood. I was frozen in fear as it showed me its teeth. I had to defend myself, it would kill me.

I scanned the room and almost sighed in relief when I noticed the knitting needle on the dark wooden coffee table across the room. I crossed my fingers and made a run for it.
