☾*⋆ *⋆⋆* *⋆Hunter

Hesitantly I approached the territory of the Green Rain pack, I inhaled the air constantly, wary not to cross it. Not yet.

I didn't have a plan, but there was no time to think of one when Autumn's life was in danger. I just knew that I wouldn't be able to attack a whole pack on my own and get Autumn out of there, that would be stupid. So I had gone off a list of people I knew that could possibly help me, but none of them actually qualified.

That was when I remembered that Autumn told me about her old pack, her old lifestyle. And, her old boyfriend. When she had told me about the way he broke her heart, pure rage dawned upon me. At that moment I wanted to kill the man who hurt my Autumn. But now, I had to ask him for help through gritted teeth.

I had no choice, who else would help some rogue, a "dangerous lonesome wolf full of wrath"?

He was the only one that would care for her, and her family would probably want to help as well. I knew very well that she left them without warning and that it was a touchy subject, so I'd have to be very gentle with breaking the news.

I closed my eyes and ignored the ache in my heart when I thought of two night ago, when we sat together by the campfire. She was so beautiful.

With my hands balled into fists I walked past the territory marks, which were some carvings in the trees. I started walking with determination, without fear I had to face Finn.

After three minutes of walking through the woods, waiting for them to show up, I heard footsteps running near. "Finally," I mumbled with a sigh. A large ash-brown wolf came running through the trees and I rolled my eyes at his approach, it was too easy.

He shifted and put on some shorts while I waited for him, impatiently tapping my foot. He snarled at me and I huffed. He was the typical young male wolf, aggressive, impulsive and very territorial. He had the same big brown eyes as Autumn. A relative?

"Listen, you better leave right now before I kill you." He growled and glared as he came closer. I stayed put and showed him my canines, my eyes burned and probably became my wolf's. Bright yellow.

"I know Autumn, she was from you pack right?" I snapped at him with a smirk. I needed to get him to see me as an Alpha or something, or else he would never bring me to Finn. So I raised my chin and took on a strong stance. He was caught off guard by my words and just stared blankly at me, confusion was written all over his face.

"She is from our pack," He snarled, emphasizing the "is". I chuckled and then send him an arrogant smirk. "No she's not, she is in mine." I told him and I raised an eyebrow.

Something clicked in his mind when I insinuated that I was an Alpha, Autumn's Alpha. Something in his stance changed but he suppressed it and growled. "So what does that have to do with the reason you crossed our territory, Alpha?" In my head I patted myself on the back for actually appearing to be an Alpha.

"I need to discuss something with Finn about her, she's in trouble. And I think you could help me," He seemed to hesitate but then motioned for me to follow him. I sighed in relief and followed him.

The large mansion by the edge of the  forest seemed old and fragile, a  few faces turned and growled at me when I walked past them. But the guy waved them off and led me to the entrance. The doors creeked when he opened them and a large hall with two immense stairs were revealed.

"I'm bringing you to his office, don't try to pull anything stupid, it's useless." He told me with a low voice as he glared at me. We reached a heavy door and stopped right in front of it. The guy knocked and probably communicated through mind link, because he opened the door without a word. "Here he is Finn," He mumbled and he gestured for me to enter. I glanced around the room and then at the Alpha sitting by the desk. He looked tired and stressed out, I almost felt sorry for him.

Too bad I fucking hate him.

"Alpha of the...?" He started while he straightened up and put some papers on the corner of his desk. I looked over my shoulder to check if my escort was already gone, he was. I scraped my throat nervously and ran my finger through my hair, if I wasn't fast enough he'd probably throw me out, or kill me.

Finn noticed that I felt uncomfortable and nodded. "Right, she doesn't want me to know." He assumed and he rubbed his face with a sigh. I shook my head and sat down in the seat in front of him, but before I could tell him that I was not an Alpha he asked. "How is she? Is she happy, has she moved on?" I gritted my teeth at his words and kept myself from punching him. How dare he talk about her like that when he was the one who left her in a heartbroken state?

"Listen, Finn" I said "I'm not an Alpha." He raised his eyebrows but kept silent. "I'm Autumn's mate." He narrowed his eyes and I saw him twitch, he looked...angry?  His nostrils flared and he looked like he was holding himself back from attacking me. I pulled up an eyebrow. "I thought you found your mate?" I asked, holding back my irritation.

He sighed and massaged his temples after nodding. "I have, but...there's something that still is connected to her in some way. I don't love her, I don't want to be with her. I just have this automatic response to her that I can't seem to get rid off. I assume she told you about us?" He told me honestly.

"She has. But, here's the deal," I hesitated, trying to find the right way to put it "she got abducted."  And Finn threw the table against the wall behind me.

"So, you're having trouble with your conscience?" He asked with a smirk, circling around me like a shark. I was trembling top to bottom while I sat on the floor with my knees tightly pressed against my chest. My hair was like a curtain, banning out my surroundings.

His footsteps approached quickly and he slapped my cheek. It barned and I cradled my cheek with one hand, the other still hugging my knees. He lowered himself and looked at me with a smirk, but anger egnited behind his eyes.

"Look. At me. When. I'm. Talking, you whore!"He spat in my face. He tilted my head with his finger under my chin, just like Hunter had when we first met. I almost choked and my stomach turned. I slapped my hand over my mouth when I felt the little bit of content my stomach still had coming up. But  when I raised my hand I noticed two little wounds on my wrist.

I looked at it with widened eyes when I realized what they were. Mark bites.

I stared at Ryder's grinning face with disbelief. No, no, no, I was Hunter's! I felt my face become pale and this time, I actually threw up. I clutched my stomach as I spit out the sour liquid. I was panting and coughing when I heard the evil laugh of my torcherer.

"I guess you're mine now?" He said with an evil grin. I shook my head and spat at his feet. "Fuck you!" I hissed and I punched him right in the jaw, the crack I heard when my fist connected to his face was satisfying. He stumbled back, cursing immensely. Rubbing his jaw he glared at me.

"You shouldn't have done that," He hissed through gritted teeth, and he stalked out of the room, slamming the door.
