Kai nodded. Kai really wanted to say something... But with his throat like this, he know he couldn't.
"Kai..your hair... It's longer and not that spiky anymore.. What happened..." Zane said. Indeed, Kai's hair is longer and is more straight than spiky. Kai's mouth opened and then closed. "Whats wrong? What happened?" Zane asked, confused and worried. Kai looked at Zabe and then looked at Legend. Legend whined and nuzzles Kai's face. "Kai... Can you talk?" Zane asked worried. Kai sighed and shook his head. "Wait... Do you not have your voice?" Zane asked. Kai opened his mouth and tried talking but nothing came out. "Kai... What happened?" Zane asked, going to Kai and hugged Kai. Kai hugged back. Kai let go and walked to get his notebook. Zane walked to kai and watched as he wrote what happened.
'Its been 8 months since we started fighting the Overlord. You and the others were turned evil by the dark matter and i was left. The reason why I cant talk and i have a limp is because Jay threw his kunais at my leg and Cole punched me in the neck. Also you hit me in the back with an arrow. Its alright.. I forgive you for that... All of you...'
Zane gasped. "Im sorry about that... Im sorry for hurting and leaving you alone here." Zane said hugging kai who was suprised. Kai smiled. 'Dont worry Zane... Now atleast I have one of my family back.' Zane looked at Kai who was smiling. "Did you hear that?" Zane asked. Kai raised his eyebrow. "I heard someone in my head. " Zane said. Kai smiled and laughed. 'Thats me Zane. I can talk to you with my mind like how i can talk to you with Legend and the others.' Zane looked at Kai. "Wait thats you?" Zane asked. Kai nodded. "Thats cool! How are you doing it?" Zane asked, confused. 'Im not human.. Im part dragon. The dragons can talk go others who arent human like you.' Kai said. "Your not human?" Zane asked. 'Yeah... It's shocking huh? Appearently, my mother was from a different dimension and came here and met my dad and stayed here for her family.' Kai said. "Oh... How is it being a different being than human or a robot?" Zane asked, smiling. 'Its great actually. Oh since you're here now... Gotta make you some weapons and clothes.' Kai said, turning around and walking to the blacksmith place thing in the cave. Zane followed Kai and once they get to the shop, kai started to grab supplies. 'What type of weapon you want?' Kai asked. "Um.. I'll have a bow and shurikans." Zane said, shrugging. Kai nodded. 'You can go do anything or adventure around if you want, its gonna take awhile to finish.' Kai said, grabbing wood and metal. "Okay." Zane said. Zane walked around and came acrossed a kitchen. Zane looked in the fridge and in the cabinets. He decided to make something for them as a sorry and helping gift.
After an hour or so passed, Zane grabbed the plates and walked to where Kai was working at. "Hey Kai." Zane said. Kai looked up and saw Zane holding plates. 'Hey.' Kai said. He grabbed the shurikans and put them out on the counter. Zane handed him a plate and walked to the counter. 'All i have to finish is carving the wood and the arrows and then ill be done.' Kai said, getting ready to eat. "Thanks for that." Zane said. 'No problem.' Kai said.
After a few hours, Kai walked to Zane holding his bow and arrows and his shurikans. 'Hey Zane, heres your weapons. I'll have the clothes done by tomorrow.' Zane looked at Kai. "Oh, thank you." Zane said. Zane grabbed the bow and checked it out.

"I like the look. Thank you again." Zane said. 'Your welcome. Tomorrow we can start training.' Kai said. "Okay, I'll make sure I'm ready for that." Zane said. 'Alright, ima head to bed, ill show you were you'll be sleeping. We only have one bedroom, but its pretty big it fit 5 dragons and me in there. So I'm pretty sure we can fit another bed in there for you if thats alright.' Kai explained, walking towards the bedroom. "Okay, i don't really care. We used all sleep in the same room so." Zane said, following Kai. Zane walked in and the dragons where all there, laying on the floor. Zane looked at each one, until he saw Shard. "Shard! Did you all separate?" Zane asked, walking to shard. Once Shard saw Zane, he jumped up and yelped. 'They all separated and that was when Legend came along. I dont know how, but he was a egg when it happened.' Kai explained, setting up a bed. "Okay. Thanks for setting the bed up." Zane said, walking over to Kai. 'No problem. Well goodnight Zane, its nice to talk to you again.' Kai said, going to bed. "Same. Goodnight Kai." Zane said, going go bed.
