Chapter 10

    Kai smiled and looked at Nya.
  'Do you think you can help with our mission?' Kai asked Nya.
   Once Nya heard 'help' and 'misson', her eyes shined brighter than ever.
  "Yes! I want to help!" Nya exclaimed happily.
    Kai looked at Nya and chuckled.
  'Cool. Tomorrow we will go to Ninjago and destory the last building. Thats when we can finally fight the Overlord and hopefully defeat him this time...' Kai said, walking away, still facing Jay and the others.
   

   After a few hours, Nya was getting settled for bed.
    "Hey..." Jay said, walking over to Nya.
  "Hey Jay. Whatcha need?" Nya asked, smiling.
   "Eh.. Nothing really.. Just here to talk and stuff, ya know?" Jay said, sitting down on her bed.
  "Alright, whatcha want to talk about?" Nya asked.
   "... Have you ever thought when this stuff will be over with? Like the overlord and we can go back to our normal lives?" Jay said quietly.
   Nya looked at Jay, "Of course I do. Every hour i wish we could. I wish this overlord stuff never happened and Kai could still talk, ya know?" Nya finished, putting her hand on Jays shoulder.
     Jay smiled.
"Yeah... I wish so too.. Oh i don't know if you want to know but... You yelled at Kai today..." Jay said.
Nya just stared at Jay.
  "What?" Nya asked.
"You yelled at Kai. Your exact words were...  'Ugh... Why are you silent!? I dont remember you ever being this quiet?!. You're always one to talk back! Why arent you now?!'... Yeah.. I think you kinda hurt Kai a bit..." Jay explained, looking at Nyas face, watching her emotion change from confused to regret.
  Nya fell backwards and covered her face.
   "Are you kidding me?! Bruh that dark matter makes you the worst person ever..." Nya yelled, feeling bad about what happened.
   "Dont worry.. Atleast you dont remember it, but i mean Kai will." Jay said.
  Nya shot up and glared at Jay.

"Your not helping Jay!"

  Kai silently laughed.
  He knows that if Nya knew that he was eveesdropping on her and Jays conversation, he would never hear the end of it.
  But, what she didn't know won't hurt her..
   After awhile Kai walked back to his room and layed down with the dragons and Legend laying next to his bed since he was so big he couldnt fit on the bed even if it was just him.
     Kai stared at the ceiling and listened to Nya and Jays voices that carried over the cave walls.
   Kai closed his eyes and went to sleep.

  
   'Kai...'

Kai rolled over, trying to go back to sleep.

  'Kai.... Wake up...'

'There it is again....'

'Kai... Wake up... They need you...'

'Who?...'

'Kai.. Wake up ... He needs you...'

Kai bolted out of sleep, scaring Legend awake.
   'Kai? Why did you wake me up?'
Kai sighed.
'Kai? Are you okay?'
Kai then noticed after Legend tapped his head that he was talking to him.

'I dont know Legend... I had this dream...well it wasnt a dream.. It was more like a voice in my head... Telling me thst they need me.. He needs me... But I dont know what it means.'

  Kai layed back down.
 
'Do you think it has something to do with someone you love thats in trouble?' Legend asked.
  'It might be lloyd or Cole... I love them as brothers.' Kai said.

'Something in my mind tells me different...' Legend trailing off with a smirk.

  'What do you mean?' Kai asked.
  'Nothing... Just forget what i said and you figure it out yourself....' Legend said, laying back down and going to sleep.
    Kai shook his head and went back to sleep.
 

Kai woke up slightly to Legend putting its claws on him.
   'What...?' Kai groaned silently.
  Legend huffed.
'Its 9:45 a.m... Also you have a mission, but since that dream last night, I let you sleep a little bit more.' Legend said, walking away.
  Kai processed what he said and gasped.
     'What?!' Kai yelled getting up.

  After 5 minutes, Nya heard Kai running to the kitchen.
  "Good morning Kai." Nya said, chuckling.
  Kai rolled his eyes.
  'Good morning to you too.'
"I see you slept in for awhile. Zane cooked breakfast and since you were still asleep, Sensei wanted us to wait until you woke up." Nya said, walking to grab a bottle or water.
  Kai nodded.
 
They both headed outside to train for an hour or two.
   Nya was with Jay and Zane fought with Kai.

After two hours passed, they decided to head to Ninjago and destory the last building.
    "So, how are we gonna do this Kai?" Nya asked, getting on Flame since Kai was with Legend and Nya didnt have a dragon.
  'We are gonna fly to the building and put dynamite around the building and hopefully dont run into any stone warriors... If we run into Cole, then we can fight, cause i know he'll chase us down.' Kai explained, getting ready to go.
    Everyone nodded.
  "Kai.. Make sure you get back home without any more injuries."
Wu said, worried.
  'Dont worry sensei, ill be back without a scratch.' Kai said, smiling.
Wu nodded.
  Kai and the others took off towards Ninjago.

After awhile, they landed on the building.
  'Alright, let's go and make this quick. Once you've finished, meet back here.' Kai said, walking towards the exit.
   Everyone nodded and followed along.

   After ten or twenty minutes, Kai was walking back up to the roof.
   Kai noticed no one was up there.
  'Hm... Not finished yet i suppose...' Kai thought, walking to Legend.
  Legend looked at Kai and walked to him.
   'Hey Legend. Whats wrong?' Kai asked, rubbing his head.
   Legend whined.
  'Someone's here... 'Legend said.
   Kai looked around.
  'Who?' Kai asked.
  'I dont know, i also dont know if they're evil or not...' Legend said.
  Kai nodded.
  'Guys, come back up to the roof... We got a problem..' Kai sent out his voice to his friends and sister.
   'But I'm not done.' Kai heard Jay's thoughts.
    'Same..' Zane and Nyas thoughts filled Kais head.
   'Doesnt matter... Legend said someones here but ran when he noticed them.' Kai warned them.
  'Okay.' They responded and Kai looked at Legend.
   'Do you know where they went?' Kai asked.
   Legend nodded his head slightly.

  'Where?'

??? POV.

   Oh my gosh... That dragon noticed me! I'm doomed.
  I looked for where i was hiding.
All i could see was black.
  I fell backwards.
  "Ah!" I yelled.
  I looked up at the figure and saw a ninja.
  "Kai?" I asked.

Kai's POV(third person).

  Kai walked over to the vents that came out of the ground.
   A person fell backwards.
  Kai looked at the person... Or kai should say, snake.

   "Kai?"
