Chapter 4

Kai just stood there, thinking on what they mean that he wasnt exactly human..
  'Kai... You're.. Part dragon. Thats how we could understand you and you can understand us.' Rocky said looking at Flame.
   "So you're telling me that im part dragon? What about Nya?" Kai asked.
  'Nya is human like her father. Your mother is part dragon. She is from a different realm and switched between realms, thats when she met your father. When she went back to her realm, she realized she was pregnant. She made a decision to stay in this realm and have a family, knowing that one of her kids or both or neither were gonna be part dragon.' Flame explained, waking up to Kai.
    "Is that why you guys like me more than the others?" Kai asked.
  Flame nodded.
  A few hours after the life changing news, kai decided to go to bed.

  The next day, kai went to go fix his wound. As he was unwrapping it, he noticed the wound was healed and all it was was a little scar that hardly noticeable.
'Your wound healed quicker because of your blood. As a dragon and a human, you body heals 10 times faster than a human does.' Rocky explained.
Kai looked at his wound for a bit.

  After a few hours of training, Kai decied to go to Ninjago, but he was gonna bring Rockly and Wisp.
   Rocky and Wisp landed, and kai got off and looked around his surroundings. He didnt see any of the Ninja or the Stone warriors so he walked throughout the strets with Rocky and Wisp following behind.
     There was silence which caused it to be even more eerie that if there was sound. Kai found that The Overlord was building weapons go do something but all he knew was it wasnt gonna be good.
   Rocky and Wisp looked around, until they felt the ground shake. They looked to Kai, noticing that he also felt it.
Before they could do anything, the ground around Kai went straight into the air.
  As the ground flew up into the air and stopped suddenly, Kai flew a little bit off the ground and falling back on it with a same thud.
   Kai got up and looked off the edge, taking note that if he jumped or got knocked off, he would definitely die from hitting the ground.
   As kai thought for a bit, trying to find a way down, a figure joined him on a different land.
   "Kai~" Kai heard a voice and froze. Everything made since now... He knew who brought him into the air.
  "Well, hello there old friend..." Kai said, turning around to looked straight into 'Coles purple eyes.
'Cole smirked,"So you do remember me? How nice... Did you miss me?"
   Kai sighed. "Of course I would remember you. I do miss the good Cole. Not you..." Kai said, putting on his usual smirk.
    'Cole whined. " Aw.. Sad... I can be the Cole you've known since you've became a ninja... Only if you join the Overlord." Kai's glare hardened.
"No thank you, im good with being the only person not evil..." Kai said, his smirk fading.
  "You're not alone.. Sensei and Lloyd are still good, but.. Their time is running out. Once the Overlord finishes building the weapons, theirs and your lives will be over and the Overlord will take over this realm and all the others!" ' Cole yelled.
   'So that's what hes up to...' Kai thought.
   "And if your not gonna join him... Then you will suffer the worst pain yet..." 'Cole said, running to Kai and throwing a punch. Kai blocked the punch and hit 'Cole.
    A few minutes later, Kai noticed 'Cole got him closer to the edge, one more hit will have him stepping on the edge.
    'Cole went and hit kai in the face, knocking him off. Kai grabbed the edge, pulling himself up.
  Kai looked over the edge.
'Cole smirked. "Give up Kai! You'll be dead soon either from me, or the Overlord once we catch you."
   Kai looked back at 'Cole. "Well then, your gonna have to catch me." Kai said, falling backwards.
'Coles eyes widened. "Well that was easy..." 'Cole said, walking over to the edge.
    'Cole heard a growl and looked behind him. His eyes widened when he came face to face with a Blue dragon.
     "I said you'd have to catch me.. Am i correct?" A voice was heard, 'Cole turning around to see Rocky and someone who he thought he just jumped off a boulder.
    'Cole growled.
   Kai smirked.
   Wisp and Rocky snarled at 'Cole.
  All of a sudden, the boulders dropped, scaring Wisp who fell for a bit before flying.
Rocky and Wisp went down and landed around the boulders.
   Kai got off and walked up to the smoke and looked for 'Cole.
   Out of nowhere, a Blue kunai flew at Kais right leg.
"Agh!" Kai yelled in pain.
Kai looked at his leg. 'Again?! Jay I swear when this is over...' Kai looked and his eyes widened. Jay and Zane stood on a building. Jay holding three kunais and Zane getting ready to release the arrow.
  Kai stared at them.
Rocky and Wisp growled.
Kai heard some footsteps and turned towards the smoke, seeing a fist coming straight at his throat.
All kai could do was gasp for air as he stared at Cole and the ground.
    Wisp whined. Wisp turned towards Cole and hit him with her tail.
  Kai bent over, trying to breathe.
   Rocky growled at Zane and Jay.
   Rocky flew at them.
  Jay jumped back, coming face to face with Rocky.
  Zane jumped off and ran towards Kai.
    Wisp snarled at Zane, blocking Kai while he was coughing and finally get air but it hurt.
    Wisp shot lightning at Zane who jumped out of the way, barely getting hit.
Ricky growled and flew down to Wisp.
    Kai got on wisp, breathing hard.
They both took off to their hidout.
  
Once they got there, kai fell to the ground. Wisp whined, helping Kai get up and walked him to get water.
   'Cole is so dead after this... This hurts a lot...' Kai thought, drinking water. 'Hopefully, my neck isnt broken... That wont be good..  And I dont have the supplies for it...' Kai put the cup down and leaned against the wall...
  After a few moments, Kai heard a little yelp. Kai looked at Wisp and Rocky, thinking they did it... 
"W..w...a...s..." Kai tried saying, but it hurt to say anything.
  'Was that one of you?' Kai thought.
   They shook their heads.
  Flame and Shard walked to them.
   'was that you guys?' Rocky said.
    'No.. But it was something, or someone...' After Flame said someone, a little gold, silver and red dragon,

walked out, falling every few steps.
   The dragon yelped.
   Kai smiled.
The dragon walked up to Kai and sat on the ground, looking up at him.
   Kai crouched and looked at the dragon.
  Kai knew he had to give it a name, so... His name is gonna be Legend.

  'Legend Huh?  Kai jumped... He would have to remember they can read his mind.
