Chapter 11

*Okay.... I know i said i would update every day... But.... I'm planning on updating every other day or two days....Also... If you like Jay... Beware...also... Blood warning...

Kai stared at Skales.

"Kai? What are you doing here?" Skales asked, getting up.
Kai didnt know what to do... Speak through his mind?

'I could ask you the same question...' Kai said.

Skales eyes widened..
"Did you jusssst ssssay sssssomething?"

Kai nodded.
'I cant speak so i talk with my mind..
Skales eyes widened.
"Wait... What can't you ssspeak?"
Skales asked.
Kai shook his head.
"Why not?" Skales asked, getting up.
'Um... A punch to the throat caused it.' Kai said, shrugging.
Skales eyes widened.
"Who punched you?"
'Cole... He was evil then...and still is.... ' kai said in parts while he and Skales walked back to Legend and the other dragons.

"Skales? What are you doing here?" Jay asked.
Skales looked at the others.
"I sssaw you guysss and came up here to talk to you... I hid becausssse i thought the dragonssss were for the sssstone warriorsss that the Overlord made for them." Skales explained.
Everyone nodded.
'So what to do you want to talk about? We can talk here though... Theres a timer on the bombs here.. Lets head back to our hideout, alright? Then we can talk..' Kai said, getting on Legend.
Skales nodded.
Skales got on Legend with Kai and they took off with the others following him.

Wu heard a roar and saw Kai and the others flying towards them.
They landed and got off, but there was also a blue snake with them.
"Welcome back. Who's that?" Wu asked, greeting everyone.
Skales looked at Wu.
"Skales... Nice to see you." Wu said.
Skales nodded.
'Alright, what did you want to talk about?' Kai asked, looking at Skales.
"We need your help... The ssstone warriorsss found our den once and we losssst a few ssssnakesss. If they find our den gain, who knowsss if we will be able to fight back?" Skales said, looking at everyone.
Kai nodded.
'Sensei? Its your word.' Kai asked only Wu, but the others knew what he was doing.
Wu nodded, 'but... Be on guard... Who knows if this is a trick to trap us and give us over to the overlord for their safety...'
"Okay, we will help you. What do you need?" Wu asked.
Kai nodded.
"We need a place to hide. To repay you, we can help with anything."
  Wu nodded, "Kai and Jay, i want you too to go with Skales to where their den is and help them." Wu said.
Kai and Jay nodded.
  Kai and Skales walked to Legend and got on while Jay got on wisp.

  They went to Skales den and walked in.
They saw all different types of snakes there.
   "Daddy!" A small blue snake yelled, running to Skales.
   They hugged and the small one looked at Kai and Jay.
    "Who are you?" He asked.
  Jay and Kai chuckled.
  "Im Jay, and this is my brother, Kai. We're here to help your father." Jay said, with a smile.
   Small smiled.
  "Im Skales Junior. You can just call me Jr." Jr said, happy he gets to hangout with new people.
    Skales chuckled.
  "Alright, what do we need to do?" Jay asked.
   Skales nodded, and started walking towards a tent.
   Jay and Kai followed.
  Once Jay reached he tent, he noticed kai wasn't with him.
   Jay looked around and saw Kai in a crowd of small snakes.
    Jay smiled.
   "Alright, we need to move all the snakesss to where you guyssss hideout issss. I can have ssssome ssssnakesssss make a tunnel all the way to your hideout or sssomewhat there." Skales said.
Jay nodded.
  All of a sudden, there was screaming.
  'jay... We've got a problem.'
Jay heard Kais voice and he ran outside and saw stone warriors.
  "Oh no..." Skales said, slithering towards Jr.
  "Ninja! Get them!" The stone warrior general ordered.
  "Skales! We'll keep them distracted, you get the others out of here!" Jay said, running towards the warriors.
  Skales nodded and ran towards the other snakes.
   They started the tunnel while the Ninja held the Warriors back.
   After destroying all the warriors and more still coming, Kai and Jay ran towards the snakes.
   'Hows it going?' Kai asked Skales.
    'We're getting out.. But it'll take awhile.' Skales thought.
  Kai nodded, not noticing a stone warrior they missed creeping up to Kai.
Jay noticed something moving and saw a warrior holding a sword towards Kai.
   "Kai!" Jay yelled, running to block the slash of the sword from Kai.
Kai jumped and turned around to see Jay fall to the ground.
'Jay!' Kai yelled.
Kai looked at the Warrior and fought it until it was destoryed.
    Kai turned back to Jay and ran to him.
  'Jay....' Kai said.
  Skales slithed to Kai.
  Skales gasped after seeing what happened to Jay.
    The sword was coming down, so when Jay jumped in the way of it, it cut him in the face, right over his left eye.... And it was bleeding badly..
   Kai took off his jacket and ripped the sleeve, he could always make another one, or do a new design. Kai ripped it into smaller pieces and wrapped Jays head so it could stop some of the bleeding.
'We need to go..' Kai said, picking up Jay.

  Skales nodded.

 
Wu looked at the picture of the Ninja.
    The three who stuck out the most was Kai, Jay, and Nya.
   They looked the most like a family.
   But, with the others, they becane a bigger family.
   Wu smiled, missing the old days with his brother and his friends.
    His students reminded him of his friends.
    Jay and Cole were like their mothers. Nya and Kai were like both their parents combined. Kai was like his mother by his wise moments, but of course, kai had his fathers stubborness and temper.
Nya, on the other hand, acting like her mother by having her calmness but having her father's temper.
  They both had the caring for others they put their trust in like their parents.
  If kai or nya trusted you, they would fight for you no matter what, and it seems Jay is finding his way into the circle.
   
  Wu's thoughts were cut short when he heard Nya calling for him.
  "Sensei, Kai and Jay returned... But Jays hurt, badly." Nya explained.
  Wu nodded and followed Nya to the others.
     Wu saw Kai holding Jay who had a makeshift bandage on his face.
    "Bring him to the Medical Bay." Wu said, walking to the bay with Kai and Zane following.

   Kai set Jay on the bed.
  'Will you be able to help him Zane?' Kai asked, worried for his brother that was laying on the bed.
     Zane nodded. "Ill try my best, okay Kai?" Zane said, trying to give Kai hope.
   Kai nodded.
  "Kai... Lets leave Zane to work, alright?" Wu asked.
Kai looked at Wu with fear in his eyes.
   Wu knew Kai was scared to leave Jay for even a minute,m without knowing if he was okay.
   Wu guessed correctly that Jay had found his way into the Smiths circle of trust.
    "He'll be okay Kai... Trust me.... Let go." Wu said, looking at Kai, placing his hand on his shoulder.
  Kai looked at Jay and then at Zane, who gave him a reassuring look.
  Kai nodded.
Wu and Kai left the room.
   "Will he be okay?" Nay asked, worried.
  Wu nodded.
"Hes in good hands right." Wu reassured Nya.
   'Jay... Please be okay... I cant lose someone close to me now....' Kai thought, looking up at the ceiling.

-i think Kai and Jay have a brotherly bond.

-And Wu and Kai have a father-son bond since Kai never really had a dad.... Thats why Wu's protective of him.
  He thinks of kai as a son and a student....
