I was sitting in my room watching TV when Jahseh walked in
He sat on my bed
"Y/n" he says
I look him in the eyes
"How come you never talk about your family?" He asks
"I don't have family" I reply looking away
He grabs my chin making me look at him again
"Y/n, you are a very beautiful girl and I know you're broken and I want to help you but, I can't if you don't let me in on why you're so broken" he explains
"How do you know I'm broken?" I ask
"I can read you...I can see it" he says
I looked hesitant to tell him and he noticed
"It's okay......you can tell me anything" he assures me
"Well all my life my parents would-" I was cut off because I started crying
He pulls me in for a hug
I then pulled away from the hug
"They were both abusive" I say
"I'm so sorry, Y/n" he says
"It's not your fault" I say
He then grabs my hand and starts caressing the back of it which calmed me down
"Did you ever ask them why they do that?" He asked
"Because I was a girl and they wanted a boy" I say
"That's fucked up like on some real shit" he says
"And when I was sixteen they forced me to date this white boy that I didn't even like" I say
He nods signaling for me to continue
"So I broke up with him and my dad beat me for that" I cry
He wipes my tears
"And they don't like black people for some reason but I do.........my type is black boys" I continue
"Then my dad beat me for dating a black boy"
"Then my boyfriend started becoming manipulative and abusive so we broke up"
I start telling him the rest of my story
"I'm so sorry....you didn't deserve any of that" he apologizes
"Jahseh it really isn't your fault" I say
He kisses my hand
I was getting cold so I was shivering, he noticed
He took off his hoodie
"Here" he says
"Thank you" I say taking it
I put the hood on too
He smiles at me
"What?" I ask giggling
"You look cute in my hoodie" he says
"Thanks" I say smiling

He laughs
We were watching TV together when I noticed how fine he was
"Jahseh" I say
"Hm" he looks at me

"Your welcome" he says
I pull him in for a hug
He hugs back and rubs my back
I was quiet for some time when I heard his voice
"You sleep?" He ask
I was too tired to respond so I kept my eyes closed and didn't say anything
"Yep. She is.......poor thing has had such a hard life" he tells himself
He lays me down, puts the blanket over
me, and leaves
