I woke up in the middle of the night. I went downstairs to get Jahseh another juice box. I went back up to the room.
"Seh" I said softly. He didn't wake up.
"Seh" I spoke caressing his cheek. His eyes fluttered open.
"Drink this apple juice then I'll leave you alone for the night" I spoke. He sat up a little. I placed the straw at his lips and he started drinking it. I knew he was tired because he was falling asleep as he was drinking it. He finished it. He laid back down. I felt his forehead and he was burning up. I decided to lighten the mood a bit.
"Damn you're hot" I said. He chuckled.
"Glad u could get a laugh outta you" I said. I got a rag and put cold water on it. I placed the rag on his forehead to cool down his fever. I turned the bathroom light off and got in bed.

I woke up to Jahseh coughing. I patted his stomach. He rested his head back down and I could hear his light snores again, indicating he fell back asleep. I took the rag off his forehead and felt it. The fever had went away. I decided to get up for the day. I went downstairs and cleaned up a little. I went back upstairs. He was of course still in the bed. He was rubbing his temples and his eyes were shut tight.
"You okay?" I questioned
"My head hurts" he informed me. I got him some Tylenol and a water. He took it and drank the water. He laid down on his back with his head facing me. I started caressing his cheek.
"Do you feel like you're getting any better?" I asked. He nodded his head.
" I do feel better it's just my head" he spoke. I nodded my head. I kissed his forehead a few times. I pulled away and there was a little smile on his face and he was blushing. I continued to caress his cheek. Then his blinks became longer. Soon enough.....he was asleep.
