ONE MONTH LATER

I woke up and seen Jahseh beside me. He must've came in my bed in the middle of the night. I went downstairs to eat breakfast. I stayed downstairs and was gonna stay until Jahseh woke up.

It was the afternoon and he hasn't come downstairs. I went up to my room and seen he was still in my bed. I went to sit beside him. He was awake but he looked so sad and miserable.
"What's wrong? You look so sad" I questioned
"I don't feel good" he admitted sadly
"Awww Seh" I said. He was laying on his stomach so I started rubbing his back.
"You think it's cuz of the weather?" I questioned. It's been very cold and windy lately. He nodded his head.
"You hungry?" I questioned. He shook his head no.
"You thirsty?" I questioned. He shook his head no again.
"You just wanna get some rest huh?" I asked. He nodded his head.
"Okay" I said. I kissed his cheek and when I pulled away there was a small smile on his face. His blinks were long so I knew he was tired. I got up and closed the curtains so the room would be darker.
"Get some good rest okay" I said. He nodded his head.
"Thank you mamas" he said
"Of course Seh" I said. I walked out the room and went downstairs.

4 HOURS LATER

I got a juice box with apple juice out the fridge and walked upstairs to my room. He was still asleep but was in his back now.
"Seh" I said softly. He didn't wake up.
"Seh.....Seh" I caress his cheek. His eyes fluttered open.
"You gotta drink this apple juice" I said. He looked at it and sat up a little. I placed the straw at his lips. He started chugging it down.
"Good?" I questioned. He nodded his head as he continued drinking. It was gone. He started coughing and made a face like he was in pain.
"You okay?" I asked concerned
"It hurts when I cough" he admits
"I hope you get better soon" I said. I rested his head on my boobs and played in his hair. A few minutes later I heard his light snores. I slowly slid his head off of me and placed it on the pillow. I brought the blanket up to his shoulders and left the room.

I decided to make him some soup. It was on the stove but was gonna take about an hour to cook. Eventually the soup was done and I went upstairs to give it to him. He was asleep still. I woke him up. His eyes fluttered open.
"Eat this soup Seh" I spoke. He sat up again and I started feeding him the soup. He ate it all. I gave him another juice box with apple juice in it. He chugged it down. He laid back down. I went to grab the bowl from the nightstand. I started walking to the door when Jahseh grabbed my wrist.
"Can you stay with me?" He questioned
"Of course. I'm gonna take this downstairs and I'm coming right back okay" I said. He nodded his head. I went downstairs, put his bowl in the dishwasher then headed back upstairs. I sat beside him on the bed. He put his head in my lap.
"Thank you for everything baby" he thanks me
"Of course Seh" I said kissing his forehead. We then started watching TV. I started rubbing my fingernails on his scalp. I looked down at him and his blinks were getting longer and longer until his eyes stayed closed. I kissed his forehead and caressed his cheek.
"Poor thing is so sick" I said to myself
