Mary's POV
I've been so tired lately due to after having Rosie and due to sleepless nights because of feeding her in a couple of hours during the night, Rho offered to take care of Millie and Rosie during the day while I rested and when Rosie is hungry I get up and breastfeed her, it's part of our routine as parents but it's not always easy especially, having a baby that was just born but we are glad that we are parents and loving ones too.
Rhoda offered to take care of Melissa and Rosalie for the day while Mary rested, she loves spending time with her daughters as much as she could, and it would take a chance for Rhoda to have some bonding time with the littlest one. Rhoda cooked breakfast for Melissa and Mary already breastfed Rosalie so she was fine, Melissa with her Koosa Doll as she was drawing as she sat up on the counter. Rhoda looked at Melissa and smiled, "Melissa Faye are you finished sweetie?" Rhoda asked as she picked up Melissa's plate, Melissa looked up at her beautiful Mama "yes Mama" Melissa replied sweetly as she went back to drawing, Rhoda smiled at her daughter "okay kid" Rhoda said as she kissed Melissa's head softly.
As Rhoda went to the trash to scrape the left over food off of Melissa's plate, she heard Rosalie's babbles from her crib, It was music Rhoda's ears. She put the plate in the sink and went up to the pure white crib and looked down at her sweet baby girl, "Heya Angel" Rhoda softly said as she picked up the baby gently "did you have a good sleep, huh?" Rhoda softly spoke as she looked lovingly at her daughter's beautiful multicolored eyes, she kissed her daughter's forehead softly and Rosalie looked at her Mama with a smile on her face, Rhoda couldn't help but smile back at the bundle of joy.
Rhoda felt so much love with her little family especially with the newest edition, she hopes that she's a good Mother to her beautiful girls and she hopes that she is and will be a devoted Partner to her soon to be wife Mary, that's all she really wants in her life. Rhoda continued to bond with Rosalie, she laid on the couch with her against her chest. She will always cherish this moment with her beautiful babies no matter if it's ups or downs, "you are such a beautiful and a perfect little baby" Rhoda softly whispered to her daughter as she kissed the crown of the baby's head. Rhoda got up off the couch gently as she had Rosalie in her arms and put Rosalie back in her crib gently, "have a good rest kid" Rhoda said softly as she gently put the soft plush stuffed bear which her Mother, Ida gave her as a Baby Shower present for Mary.
As Rhoda put Rosalie down for a nap again once more, Rhoda went back to the couch and looked at her magazines as always. A few moments later, Melissa went to her Mama quietly because she didn't want to wake up her baby sister. "Mama" Melissa spoke softly to her get her Mother's attention, Rhoda put down the magazine and smiled at her five year old "heya kid, what's going on?" Rhoda asked with a smile as she pulled Melissa into her arms on her lap. "I'm really worried about Mommy" Melissa said as she didn't look at her Mama in the eyes of how upset she was, Rhoda felt upset for her daughter that was concerned about her other Mother when she doesn't need to be worried about anything at her age. "Oh Melissa Faye Baby, you don't need to worry about Mommy she's okay, she's just a little tired that's all" Rhoda explained to her daughter with a smile on her face, Melissa smiled back at her Mama "why is she so tried?" Melissa asked, "because well, Mommy has been kind of stressed out lately, not because of you Kid but because she's just a had your baby sister and she has to stay up most nights because she needs to make sure that Rosie is okay" Rhoda explained again to her five your daughter as Melissa snuggled in her arms.
"Mama, can I go cuddle with Mommy?" Melissa asked as she looked up at her Mother who smiled graciously, "of course kid, but we have to be quiet because we don't want to wake up Rosie" Rhoda warned her daughter as she had Melissa in her arms and went to Mary and her's room. They got into Mary and her's room with Mary in a deep sleep in the queen sized bed, Melissa got on top of the bed and snuggled into Mary's arms which, made Mary awake "is something wrong?" Mary softly asked as her eyes were still shut, "nah baby nothing is wrong, Melissa just wanted to snuggle with you that's all" Rhoda said as she planted a kiss on Mary's lips and forehead which made Mary smile.
"Thank you Rho, I love you so much" Mary replied as she held Melissa in her arms, "I love you too baby, try to get some more rest okay kid?" Rhoda said as she smiled at her beautiful partner, "okay" Mary softly spoke with a smile "but wait, Rhoda?" Mary stopped Rhoda from opening the door "yeah Kid?" Rhoda looked at her partner, "is Rosie okay?" Mary asked with concerned, "yeah kid she's totally fine, try to get some rest now I will check on the both of you on a little while I love you you gorgeous kid" Rhoda said as she opened the door lightly, Mary smiled back at her partner "I love you too baby" Mary replied as she laid back down with Melissa in her arms.
As Mary and Melissa were sleeping most of the morning, Rhoda did Tummy Time with Rosalie so she can bond with her more and it prevents Rosalie to have a flat head shape. "You can do it, you can hold your head up Rosie" Rhoda softly encouraged Rosalie to hold her head up, and once she did Rhoda smiled proudly and brightly as ever "good job baby!" Rhoda softly said as she doesn't hurt the baby's ears, Rosalie smiled at her Mama which made Rhoda smile even more. "I love you so much Rosalie Ida" Rhoda said as she pecked Rosalie's head softly, she was so proud to be a mother to both beautiful girls. As the bedroom door opened it was Mary holding Melissa in her arms, she smiled at Rhoda and Rosalie bonding, "there's my beautiful girlies" Mary said as Rhoda was surprised to see her, "heya kid, I thought you were asleep?" Rhoda replied as she held Rosalie in her arms, "I was, but I had enough rest for today" Mary said as she stroked Melissa's hair softly, "yeah well Melissa and Rosie have been very good, I love these two so much you don't even know" Rhoda went up to Mary "and I love you very much too" Rhoda finished as she pecked Mary lips, "I love you too Rho" Mary replied as they stared into each other's eyes while holding each child.
*hey everyone, so I gonna do a chapter of Melissa's birth story after I do a chapter of only Mary and Rhoda, just to get the idea of why Melissa is a miracle baby and how scary it is for a parent to see their own child going through a lot of pain, and I promise I'm going to make a chapter of Mary and Rhoda's wedding I just don't know how to start it yet. But I hope you love the Melissa and Rosalie chapters because I'm going to be making a lot of them soon❤️*
