Rhoda's POV
Mary and I were watching TV and snuggling together until we heard our 4 year old daughter Melissa. Melissa has been having severe anxiety and nightmares, it's been very stressful for Mare and I because we never get to have alone time at night. We love our daughter so much we hate to see her suffer and not getting enough sleep.
Rhoda and Mary were together on the couch watching TV Mary was in a deep sleep and Rhoda was about ready to close her eyes until she heard Melissa walking towards her and Mary. Melissa was very small had a blanket in her hand and cute as a button. Rhoda saw her "Melissa Faye you need to get some sleep kid" Rhoda said as she got up off the couch and picked up and had Melissa in her arms "Mama don't make me go back there alone" Melissa replied scared as she clung to Rhoda tightly "Come on kid what are so scared of?" Rhoda asked as she gently draw circles on her daughter's back.
"Being alone all by myself and I'm scared that someone might get me" Melissa explained as she rested her head on Rhoda's shoulder, Rhoda smiled as she felt Melissa's head against her shoulder it made her remember when Melissa was just born and Rhoda held her for the first time, it changed her life forever. She will never forget that day that Mary told her she was pregnant it was the happiest day in their lives.
"Awe kid you don't need to be scared Mommy and I are right here" Rhoda whispered so she and Melissa didn't wake up Mary "I know but I still get scared can you stay with me in my room until I fall asleep?" Melissa asked "alright kid but you need to start sleeping on your own soon" Rhoda replied as she held her daughter "thank you I love you Mama" Melissa said as she kissed Rhoda's cheek, this made Rhoda's heart swell she loved her daughter so much "I love you too Melissa Faye" Rhoda replied as she kissed her daughter's head.
"Come on Melissa lets put you into bed" Rhoda was said as she was still carrying her daughter. A couple of hours later Mary woke up from a deep sleep she didn't feel Rhoda beside her "Rhoda" Mary spoke as she was still half asleep she got up off the couch and tried to search for Rhoda. "Rhoda?" Mary said again as she continued to look for Partner, as she was looking all over the apartment there was one room that she hadn't looked at.
Mary quietly went into her daughter's room and saw Melissa curled up with Rhoda in a deep sleep in Melissa's bed, Mary smiled at both of them she quietly went over and got a extra blanket and kissed both of them goodnight. Mary smiled at the two girls in her life.
"I love you you crazy girlies" Mary whispered.
