Once Upon a Tine

Chapter 10. Luke in Wonderland

Its almost four in the afternoon when Tine arrived at the convenience store that he adviced Luke. He was a bit concern that his not there.

"Where could he be? I hope he doesn't feel ditched while waiting for me. I'm only just a minute late." Tine uttered to himself while looking around if whether Luke was somewhere else.

He took his phone and send a message to him to check his whereabouts. Not long enough he received a reply from Luke.

"I'm here na Nong! I already saw you Tine. Just wait for me in your location." Luke's reply upon Tine reading his message.

He roam his eyes around and after a while saw an incoming white car. The driver of the sedan made a slight honk upon approaching him to catch his attention. As soon as he reach his location he immediately lowered his window revealing a smiling face of Luke.

"Hey! Hop In. Did you wait for me that long." Luke asked while still plastering his smile. Tine smiled back and quickly ride inside Luke's vehicle. After settling down infront. He immediately gaze at Lukes attire.

Luke take Tine reaction as a compliment. He was now smiling ear to ear.

"So, you like it?."  Luke charmingly ask Tine about his appearance.

A sudden burst of laughter came out of Tine as his reaction to Luke's question.

"Hahaha! Are you going to the club or what?" Tine jokes around to his now puzzled driver. He cannot hide his laughter with Luke's outfit. While Tine is wearing his normal plain shirt and shorts Luke on the otherhand is wearing a blue long sleeve matching his blank pants and white sneakers.

Luke looks at Tine with his confusion. He doesnt understand the remarks Tine is giving him. All along he thought that the bunny boy is admiring his looks.

"Clubbing? Why are you laughing so hard Tine. I bet you know I look good at this." Luke proudly states while protruding his chest.

Tine who's still laughing tried to compose himself after hearing Luke's statement. He doesnt want to offend him with his funny remarks. He immediately apologize for holding out a loud laughter. Afterwards compliments him with his choice of clothings. Tine explained as well to Luke that somehow he was anticipating him to just wear a more casual attire since he did mention they are going to the grocery. And Tine added that when he meant by grocery he means taking him to a public market.

"Owwwww!!!" Was Luke only response to Tine's explanation. He was even scratching the back of his head as a sign of embarrassment.

"I thought when you said grocery you were referring to the grocery inside the mall. My bad! Sorry!" Luke added.

Tine immediately cease his apology. He then added that they can still push through with his thought, afterall he doesn't want to spoil his fashion sense right now. Tine replied and reassure Luke.

"Nope! Your are the "Boss". So whatever you want It is my command." Luke retorted while smiling shamelessly to Tine.

Tine was lost with his statement. He looks at him with a confused face.

Luke immediately restated his sentences.
"What I mean is I should follow whatever you said afterall its your personal stocks that where buying. Besides I can easily change my sneakers to my flip flops. I also wanted to experience a public market. Honestly I've never been to any of those places." Lukes further explained to Tine.

Tine was still a bit hesistant with Lukes suggestion. But after Lukes initiate and reconfirmation that his totally fine with it, Did Tine settle for his earlier plan.
