Chapter 2

Ring. I check my phone to see a message from Eliza,
Eliza: Sure, 4:00 sounds good

I can't stop smiling and thinking of that boy, John. Goddammit what's wrong with me? I just met him. I feel like I'm in those cheesy, cliche webtoon stories (hun, you're in wattpad). I walk to the building of my dorm.

I get on the elevator and click the 7th floor. I exit the elevator and scan for the dorm number T11. I unlock the door to see a small furnished room with three doors. A small couch and television are placed on the right, a small kitchen counter, sink, and a refrigerator placed on the left side of the room. Beside the counter is a slightly opened door. I peak to see a toilet, a sink, and a bathtub.

Okay first of all, a bathtub in a dorm bathroom? Fancy. Second of all, the bathroom is next to the kitchen? Ew...

I sigh and open the second door, which is at the other side of the entrance door. A bed and a nightstand, and the window is placed above the bed. This could use some redecorating.

I go to the next door, to see a similar room- except it doesn't have a bed. I decide the inform this to the staff later on. I check my phone for the time, 3:46 pm. I better head out to see Eliza. I head out to the second dorm building (which is just next to my dorm building) and head to the lobby.

"Excuse me, do you know where dorm number A16 is?" I ask the lady behind the desk. She sighs and rolls her eyes. Rude much?
"Second floor to the left." She responds, in a monotone voice. I thank her and head to the elevator. I click the 2nd floor button. I head out as the elevator opens. I turn left and scan the doors for A16.

A13, A14, A15, A16.

I knock on the door a few times. I hear shuffling. A woman with brown curly hair tied into a high ponytail (what's up with ponytails nowadays), wearing a yellow shirt saying, I'm not just a background character, opens the door. She greets me with a smile.
"Oh hey!! I'm Margarita, but you can call me Peggy. Actually no, just call me Peggy." She smiles sheepishly. I giggle.
"Hi! I'm Y/n, nice to meet you Peggy."
"Y/n? Oh just in time, I made cookies!!"a voice from inside says, Eliza. Peggy gestures me to come in. I go in to smell freshly baked cookies. I look around to see where its coming from and wow their place is way bigger than mine, probably for four people. I see the tray of cookies on top of the oven. Peggy grabs a few and shoves it in her mouth. I snicker.

    "Who's the other two staying here?" I ask, grabbing a cookie. Eliza looks confused at first.
"Oh, we just wanted a dorm that fits four people, but we have another sister, Angelica. She'll be here in a few." She shrugs.
   "Oh! You guys are sisters?" I ask, Peggy nods, pouring milk into three glasses. She hands Eliza and I a glass. I thank her.
"Speaking of siblings," Eliza turns to me, silently asking for permission. I nod. "Peggy, this is Alexander's sister, well, twin sister."

    Peggy's eyes widen. "Woah, really? Alex never mentioned having a twin, and boy do you look nothing alike. How did you three meet?"
"Er, a long story. I can tell you later on when Angelica arrives. Unless...?" Eliza turns to me, silently asking for permission again. I nod and dip a cookie in milk.

John POV

    I head over to Laf and Herc's dorm first instead of mine to tell them what happened at the 7-11 store earlier today. I twist the door knob open, expecting it to be locked, but it wasn't. I open it to reveal Laf, Hercules, and Alex.

"Hey Laurens! Alex was just talking about some bitch he met today, which turns out to be his twin sister." Laf calls out. My eyes widen in confusion.

"Wait, you have a twin, and you didn't even tell us?" I scold. Alex shrugs.
"Yeah, I'm pretty ashamed we're related so I never mentioned her. But since she's here now, I figured i couldn't hide this from you forever," Alex sighs.
"Yeah you cant," I say, rolling my eyes.
"Hey hey hey! Don't be mad at him, I can't blame him for being angry at her. She pretty much ruined his life." Hercules says.
"Really? How" I ask, curious.

"She let our mother die. She didn't feed her the medicine. And she-" he hesitates for a moment, "-she spent all the money on drinking. While I was away, working for it." He looks at the ground, his eyebrows furrowed.
I gotta say, I'm a bit suspicious with his movement. He was unsure of what to say at first when he was about to say she spent the money. I decide to shrug it off. He's our friend, he wouldn't lie to us... right?

I decide to lighten up the mood a bit.
"Well, guess who I met today?" I ask cockily, smirking.
"OooOoOoh, did John finally meet the love of his life? C'mon Laurens, you're in college and you've never had a girlfriend." Hercules snorts.
"You don't have to remind me, Mulligan." I grumble. "Anyway I accidentally bumped into a very pretty woman in 7-11, and I'm pretty sure she goes to college here. Well, hopefully. I got her number."

"YASSSSS LAURENS," Laf screams. Alex smirks at me, his eyebrows raised, and Herc applauds and whoops. I laugh at their reactions.

"So Laurens, what's the name of this lady you met?" Alex asks smugly

Your POV

    "So Y/n, meet any guys yet?" Eliza asks smirking. I sigh.
"Oh yeah, you know, my dumbass brother." I answer rolling my eyes. She raises a brow.
"You know what I mean."  My eyes dart around, looking for an excuse not to answer the question.
"But classes haven't even started yet! How could I-" Peggy clears her throat. I groan.
"Fine, I met this amazingly cute guy at 7-11." I say. They both squeal. I laugh at their reaction.
"Well I guess it's time to plan your wedding!!" Peggy says. I look up to glare at her, but the door suddenly opens.

    "Woah woah woah, who's getting married?" A voice asks. We all turn around to see a girl with brown curly hair, in a white shirt wearing a pink jacket over it with tight black jeans. She kinda looks like Peggy.
"Angelica!!" Peggy yells.
"Angelica, this is Y/n. Twin sister of Alexander." Eliza says. Angelica's eyes seemed to observe my movement.
  "Hey, stop calling me that, its becoming an insult." I snort.
"But," Angelica started, "Alex never-"
"Mentioned having a sister, I know." I sigh, "I'm pretty sure he hid this piece of information from all of you because he's ashamed being related to me. Although I should be the one hiding this from everyone, yet here we are."
    "Why is he being submissive about you being his sister?" Angelica asks.
"Yeah, you said you'd tell us once Angelica is here. Well she is now, what happened?" Peggy asks
"Unless you aren't comfortable telling us." Angelica says quickly.
"No! It's, uh, it's fine," I reassure. " It started at the lobby..."

"I'm sorry, what?" Angelica sneers.
"That asshole," Peggy growls.
"Language, Peggy." Eliza says calmly.
"Are you sure you don't need to go to the clinic? Alex can be pretty strong." Angelica says, I shake my head.
"Not as strong as me," I say jokingly, flexing my arms. They all snicker. I can't believe I made three friends in one day. Maybe I should text that John guy.
