Okay guys, here's the fluff you wanted.

Your POV
"Shit," he mutters under his breath. I gaze at his leaf green eyes, getting lost in it for a second. I blink a bit and feel my face heating up, but he doesn't notice.

I can't believe it, am I in some kind of cliche romantic movie? Except the guy doesn't like me back? (Bitch i just said, you're in a wattpad fanfic) What is this guy doing to me? Why must he make me feel this way?

"I should sleep on the couch, you go have the bed." I say setting my bag down. His eyes widen.
"No, I couldn't, you have the bed." John insists, pointing at the door. I shake my head, I'm too polite to let someone else sleep on the couch.

"I'm used to discomfort, I'm entirely fine with the couch." I calmly press. He looks at me, his eyes saying 'really?'.
"Used to discomfort?" He asks worriedly, he shakes head. "I don't think it's healthy to be used to not being comfortable."
"Actually,  it is," I snap. "If you're too laid back all the time, you'll become a lazy ass."
"Then maybe I should practice not being a lazy ass," He sighs.
"I don't think you are," I huff. He snorts and rolls his eyes.

"You don't think I am? You clearly don't know me. Allow me to introduce myself again. I'm John Laurens, nice to meet you." He grins, holding out a hand for me to shake. I laugh a bit, taking his hand and shaking it, ignoring the blush creeping up my face.
"Why hello there, I'm Y/n." I giggle. He raises his eyebrows.
"Y/nn...?" He asks, waiting for me to complete my name.
"You'll see," I wink. Wow, since when have I been flirty? Is this being flirty? What the fuck am I doing? Wait, I'm not focusing on the real question, why do I have a male as a roommate? At least this one is nice.

"Let's just focus on the real question," I start, "Why did they set a boy and a girl as roommates? Isn't this illegal or something? I mean not that I'm complaining, you're really hot." I mutter, shrugging. His eyes widen, then his lips form a smirk. Wait, what- holy crap did I just say that out loud?

"So you think that I'm-" but I cut him off.
"No, just god shut up. I mean not that you aren't but-" I groan. He wiggles his eyebrows then starts laughing.
"Aww c'mon, you know that I'm irresistible." He smirks. I roll my eyes.
"Just- I'll sleep on the couch." I mumble. He argues back, and I make another retort. This goes on for around a minute.

"I'm just sayin, you really have to-"
"Okay, since this isn't going to end, let's just share the bed, unless you wanna share the couch?"
He processes what I just said, then gives me a smug look. I roll my eyes.
"Before you say anything else, we keep a pillow on the middle so that something separates us." I explain, he agrees

"Then it's settled, I'll just go to the bathroom for a bit." I mumble. He nods and brings out his phone and sits on the couch, grinning and probably texting someone.

I grab my clothes from the suitcase I haven't unpacked. Who is he texting? Is he texting his girlfriend? Does he have a girlfriend? I mean, how can he not? Aside from the cockiness, he cares for other's comfort (from what happened earlier, I think that's pretty obvious.), he's nice and polite, and incredibly hot. I mean, how can you not get lost in those eyes? I realise what I've been thinking and shake off my thoughts.

I'm supposed to be focusing on studying

I sigh. But maybe it wouldn't hurt to have a little crush.
-
I have my clothes on, and I dry my hair, wet from the shower, then I leave the bathroom. He looks up from his phone and I gesture to the bathroom door.
"You're up."
He nods and heads to the bathroom.
