Once upon a time, the moon and sun lived in harmony. Two celestial beings, filled with rising warm energy that brought about life, and a great calm passion for all animals who slept underneath. They both stayed in the sky until the day the sun left to find love. He found a beautiful star named Vega. They returned together after many years, and found that while he was gone the moon couldn't move, she was trapped, watching the planet she loved so much, decay away. She didn't forgive the sun until she saw the love He and Vega had. She wanted that too. She waited many years to find love, but was only bothered by the occasional Jupiter moons. " I'll never find love" she thought. But she would, most love is unexpected.
Beneath her, a man runs around a hill, pouring a bright shiny powder around the base of the hill, making a circle. The moon seeing this, becomes interested. Humans often did innovative things.
She watched as he poured out a pattern that looks intricate like a compass or a summoning circle... the abrupt thought pounded her head.
A mortal using a summoning circle on her? It had to be. The last time a human did that there was large rocks made from the Mother stone. He must've crushed them. The circle was huge.If the circle worked she would be pulled from the sky and it would darken, causing seas to overturn and nocturnal animals would become blind in the dark. The balance between the skies would break She had to stop him, but how?
He started to speak an ancient language.
"deam luna, venerunt ad me, facti sunt mihi, idest carnalis concupiscentia."
He knew the vows, the entire assembling, everything to take her down.
For the first time in a while, she was terrified. How would she stop a human? She summoned a gust of wind and threw it, hard. She only wanted to blow away the powder. Instead, the top of the hill blew clean off. Bits of gravel rained down onto him, the powder being sent beneath the earth, where it belonged. The man looked defeated but determined. He ran away and she knew he'll be back, probably with another method of taking her away.
