Doorway to Stars

The Tea

Joan thought of this as a good bonding experience. She'd be able to get to know him better. It was also a plus that she could use his telescope to see the stars and moon closer. It made her heart flutter. But she didn't dare show the excitement on her face. A girl of her caliber liking astronomy would be dastardly to her reputation.

Timothee's plan went like this.
Seduce Anna. Get her vulnerable. Get her to drink the elixir to release her soul. Let her sleep to prepare the ritual circle with the remaining powder. Say the new chant. Wake her up. Kill her soul so the moon can use her body. Bring her home. Become a leader.

As the moon rose for her nightly duties, she saw the mortal man from the night before on a cliff. He was with a young woman who looked excited. They must be on a date, the thought. She shined a little brighter for the couple. Humans could always find love, and she wanted that one day as well.

" It's a shame there's no one else here with us to see this beautiful view," said Joan.

"Too many witnesses then." He mumbled under his breath.
"What?"
" Oh nothing, I just said... well I said I see an even better view in front of me"
That line had made many other girls swoon. She didn't even blush, she just kept looking at the sky. She turned around.
" That's very sweet of you Timothee"
He brought the blanket up the hill, laying if a few yard away from the edge.
"Tea?" He asked
She smiles.
" Usually I'm the one who's serving the tea, so I'll accept your kind gesture"
At the bottom of her cup he put 3 things; black tea leaves , a thick layer of a paste that would make her pass out in an hour and an aphrodisiac.

" Lay with me, Anna"

She sat down next to him, looking at the stars. He hands her the concocted mixture.
" This blanket is pretty soft. What's it made from?"
She smiles. She made the blanket out of dried wood fibers.
" It's made out of birch fiber"
"But it's soft like cotton or wool. Do you want to lay down on the soft blanket?"
"to see the stars?"
He didn't really care, he just wanted her to lay down. Maybe she wasn't excited by him. He needed to up the romance. He took of his shirt. He knew he had abs, and strong hands, so she would definitely be impressed.
" Why did you take off your shirt?"
" what?"
" why did you take off your shirt. If anything I'd put another on. It's kinda cold out here."
She didn't get why he did that, but it was ok. She had one mission, see the constellations.
She of course got cold,and went for
some tea to warm up. That's when things started going wrong for her.
