Desperate times in Long Hollow

learning the part

    after lunch, me and Sammy went to science while savannah had to help a teacher out. great just me and Sammy, savannah hurry I thought. while in science everyone was working in partners. I had Sammy, savannah was still gone, why? we had to mix chemicals I had no idea how to do that so I just let Sammy teach me while he did it. I was not paying attention to him, I saw the teacher, Mr. wells. I saw him catch glimpses of me then go straight out of the classroom. when he did go out of the classroom I saw Mr. Jackson or a lest I thought. after class, we want to the gym there was not a teacher I ask savannah and Sammy if this was normal.

 "come to think of it," I said to them both. "there has been nothing normal about this school."

"its fine Scarlett I'm sure, nothing is wrong," said, Sammy. 

but savannah had another idea "what going on I think you're right."

' In English, I thought I saw Mr.jackson glow.'  

Sammy chimed in 'our dad does not glow.' savannah said 'must have been the trick of the light, anything else happened?' 

 I responded with "well in science the teacher would look at me and once he got a good enough look he would, he would go in the hallway and I am pretty sure I saw Mr.jackson with him"

Sammy suggested'maybe he was talking about tests or something like that.'

 savannah chimed in 'don't worry too much about it ok?"

 The bell rang I got my homework and then found Sammy and savannah asked' how about we come over and do our work at your house'  

'yeah our dad said yes' chimed Sammy 

I said, "I am ok with it come on me and ben take the bus our parents are not around much so they probably won't be home."

 we walk down the hall to the door and we ran to the bus, ben was already on there. I guess he got caught trying to skip school, he was sitting by himself I went to go sit next to him who knows how he will act next to savannah or Sammy. 

'hey,' I said to ben. 

 he replied 'what do you want?'

 'Nothing, I just want to know what you want for dinner?' 

'pizza alright can you do that or is it too tough for you' he responded bitterly. 

'A please in there would be nice and don't eat all the pizza my friends are coming over.' I replied.

 Ben was quiet for a few minutes, then he said quietly 'ok I won't' 

I can count on him, even though he is mean to people he come through for me. Sammy and savannah were 2 rows in front of us so they could not hear us. we got off the bus then walked up the drive wave. 

the door was cracked open, I said to ben 'i swear I locked it.' 

he responded sarcastically  with 'sure you did.' I started to think about it and I got worried.

' its fine scarlett it was a tiny crack I am sure no one got in' reassured savannah. 

'hey savannah want to help me with the pizza, and Sammy you can set the table.' I said.

after I fixed the pizza with savannah she said

'what the deal with you and ben?'

 "he's not the nice type but come through for me when I need it," I said.

A few minutes later the pizza was ready.

 'ben come down, now!' i yelled. 

'what do you want now' he responded, he sounded annoyed, and sure enough, he was. 

'pizza is ready.' savannah said in a cheery voice. 

'cool I'm going to.. er..eat upstairs' he responded. 

He was like 10% nicer to her, why? That I will have to figure out on my own. I went to go sit down at the table which was next to the living room. I sat next to savannah and Sammy was across from me. 

'what do you guys think of the pizza?' I questioned them.

 'It's fantastic I mean I did help' savannah joked.

 'yeah, it's amazing!' sam chimed happily. 

 'It would have been better if I help' Sammy joked. 

'yeah sure, it totally would have been better.' I joked back. 

we got down eating the pizza, and then went up to my room.

 'wow!' savannah said. 

My room had a navy blue wall, and the ceiling was white. my bed was a queen size and had a floral print on it. I have a bedside table that was made of wood. I quickly made my bed up since I did not make it this morning.

 'we have a  science quiz tomorrow to see what we know so let first study that.' I said.

 'do we have to?' Sammy complained.

 'that's what we came over for sams' responded savannah. 

we ended up studying through the night, we convinced Sammy studied with us. savannah and Sammy slept in the living room I woke up earlier than ben, I went down the hall past the stairs and knocked on beans room.

" wake up now!" no answer "WAKE UP, now!"

"fine I am up," ben said tiredly. I went down the stairs to wake up savannah and Sammy, but savannah was being weird, she was glowing again but this time more brighter and longer. I ran up to her shake her awake. 

"wake up savannah wake up." she was shaking, the glowing had stopped. "savannah wake up." I began to worried I decided to wake Sammy up first. "Sammy, wake up now Sammy, now."

 "wha- what huh what's going on?" he sounded extra tired, but why?

 "Sammy its savannah, shes glowing and-and shaking she won't wake up." 

"who won't wake up?" said savannah.

 " savannah, uh wow what-huh your, you're fine, but how?" I said very worried. 

"huh, I am fine what's going on same?" replied savannah

"Scarlett  said you where uh shaking and glowing and just being weird."

 "Scarlett, don't worry I am fine and I cant glow it's not possible although I would love for it to be!" savannah said cheerfully.

 "ok, but I know what I saw," I said as I was walking up the stairs. 

"I am not crazy!"

 I went up to my room closed the door and brushed through my hair, then I put it in a ponytail. I put on a yellow shirt with a jean jacket that I made, the jean jacket had my name on the back in blue with a lightning bolt in the middle, the front was plain. I put leggings on and went downstairs. I saw ben wearing a black shirt with black jeans and a gray hoodie. savannah and Sammy were still changing. we had about 30 minutes until the bus came. I went outside to check on my plants and I felt watched, I could not shake the feeling. I looked around and I could not see anything so I checked around the house. I could not believe what I found I had to tell the twins.
