Days into the Apocalypse : 5
Davis almost screamed when he met the D-Gang all at once, taking in their appearances as the others were either content with not solving that mystery or denied the fact that they were practically identical.
Once Davis was done being angry, they left the apartment building and out into the open street.
"Heya, Uni."Duni greeted cheerfully as he began to walk alongside Uni, who rolled his eyes at the him.
Uni huffed, "I cannot believe you were stupid enough to go to Unit Pharmaceuticals. You used to work there, you knew how unethical those tests were, and you still did it!"
"I needed money."Duni quickly defended, "A mechanic's work doesn't pay as much as you may think! On the bright side, we match now, so we aren't alone in all this."
Duni pointed at his sharp teeth and long patches of short, black fur forming on his forearms. Uni sighed, reluctantly nodding, "I suppose you're right. For once. At least you don't look weird."
"Neither do you."Duni replied, giving him a sharp-toothed grin, "Now we're both rocking the dog look."
"Can you two stop flirting?"Dick suddenly groaned, dropping his crossbow at his side as he glared at them, "It's disgusting."
"You and Don flirt all the time!"Uni exclaimed, "And, shut up, we aren't even flirting!"
"When we flirt, it's cute as fuck, just like my love."Don explained, winking at his boyfriend in a showy manner as he purposely used a sickly sweet pet name for Dick.
"See?"Dick nodded, agreeing, "We're adorable, like my Honey Bear is when he puts his makeup on in the morning all sleepy."
Dashlie pretended to gag, "No, your cutesy flirting is just as gross, and you only ever use pet names with each other. It's just way too domestic!"
"You're just mad cause you're single."Don chirped, sticking his tongue out at her and then quickly ducking behind Dick when she pulled out two of her knives in warning.
Ddawn rolled his eyes at them, spatting out, "All of you are equally annoying."
"What a funny group..."Ashlie laughed quietly to Nick, who nodded in agreement as they watched the D-Gang's interaction.
"So, why are you called the D-Gang?"Jon asked curiously, changing the topic before they actually attacked one another.
"All of our names start with a D, for one."Dick pointed out plainly, "And we've all be arrested on one point for stupid reasons, Duni especially."
"Hey!"Duni exclaimed, offended, "All of my reasons were for fun reasons, not stupid ones."
"We never had one normal date because of that."Uni muttered. Duni looked to him in betrayal.
"Zombies!"Davis suddenly warned, putting them on guard, and pointed out the fact that a group of four zombies were making their way towards them.
Dick was quick to shoot the closest one, an arrow going through it's head and making it hit the pavement. Ashlie then rushed forward and slashed her blade across another's chest, using this as an opportunity to familiarize herself with the weapon she had yet to use. With a slight wince she sunk the blade into its head when it tried to get off the ground again.
Don's weapon of choice seemed to be a pitchfork of all things with a switchblade to finish the job, and he used both to impale and then kill one of the zombies Dick once again pierced an arrow on the last one to keep it from attacking the nearby Don, Jon was quick to swing his bat down onto the fallen zombie's skull before it could rise again.
