It was a nice winter afternoon, a week after Christmas actually, and the young college student was walking through the park in the middle of the city. It was full of couples either walking around and talking or taking pictures of each other in the stunning scenery. San himself only decided to walk around.

The young man was left alone to celebrate the New Year, as his parents left to visit the elders in his hometown and all his friends were with their families. San didn't really mind though, he would be attending a New Year's party a company he has auditioned at, held. Recently, San was meant to graduate from SOPA and decided to audition to KQ to become a singer. It was a huge opportunity for someone who grew up at a village, far from all the modern. At first, San's parents weren't that supportive of the idea of their son leaving to Seoul to become a singer or an idol when it came to that, but when they saw how hard their oldest child worked, they eventually softened and supported all the decisions he has made.

Currently, San was hiding his hands in his pockets and nuzzling his nose in the scarf that was wrapped around his neck. Puffs of air left his chapped pink lips, leaving a small cloud behind. It was really cold that day, but it was still quite sunny. He never knew that winter in the capital would be as cold. Winters in his hometown were rather warm, without this much of a snow and ice. He didn't mind – he loved the atmosphere.

A snowball landed at the side of his arm, making him yelp out of surprise and shake off the remaining snow. He looked around, noticing a group of children throwing snowballs at each other, laughing. He wished he had a childhood like them, full of fun and sincere joy. As a child, San had to work and help around, go to church every Sunday and attend his taekwondo classes. He had absolutely no time for friends or genuine childhood happiness. He couldn't remember a single time where he was genuinely happy as a child, yet he didn't blame his parents. They did their best to raise him well. Thanks to them, San was pretty self-sufficient.

His lips curved upwards, creating a tiny smile on his half hidden face. Seeing the children play like this just made him really happy. A sudden memory popped up in his head. It was when he attended middle school, his first ever hang out. The boy was from his class and San remembers him being so mesmerized with how pretty he looked. His name was Yeosang and they used to play cards, trade pokemons while meeting at Yeosang's place and play video games after they've got their homeworks done. San remembers how good of a time he had with the boy, but suddenly became sad. After they finished middle school, san never saw Yeosang again.

The boy decided to grab a coffee, before making his way back to the campus to get changed. The party was meant to be held at seven in the evening and it was just around four, but San wanted to be prepared and styled nicely. He was meant to finally meet the people he'd form a group with and first impressions matter, right?

And so like that, the boy changed his direction and made his way to the nearest coffee shop. He thought of grabbing a warm latté and leaving, and so that's what he did. After paying for his drink, he grabbed the cup, bid his goodbye's to the nice barista and left. His legs lead him back to the campus, meeting a few of his classmates on his way. They all greeted each other, making a smile appear on San's face again. He's got fairly great relationships with all the people on the school, starting with the freshmen, ending with the seniors. He wasn't really popular – he was average – but he was quite sweet to everyone. Nobody had a problem with him and vice versa.
