Emma furrowed her eyebrows and looked confused at the man.
"Why?" She asked sternly and sat down in front of the man. Even though her plan had been to yell at him until he was deaf, she now was intrigued and wanted to listen.
Killian moving away sounded like the best news at the moment.
Right when the man opened his mouth to start talking, they heard the living room door close behind them. Emma turned around and saw Granny standing behind her.
"Should I leave you two alone for a second?" She offered and Emma nodded curtly.
"Yes, thank you," she replied kindly and flashed the woman a polite smile as she left the room.
"The only reason I was staying in Storybrooke was because of the kids. I'm not blind, I see the way everyone stares at me when I walk down the street. But now that the kids don't want to see me either.. I just don't have any reason to stay. I think I should leave this town and move to New York or something."
Emma nodded curtly. "I think so too," she replied.
"Really? You're not even going to fight me on this?" Killian asked surprised and slightly disappointed. Deep down, he'd hoped that some part of Emma still wanted him to stay.
"Why would I? We're through, Killian. I've told you everything I wanted to tell you and I also said I didn't want to see you again. Yet, here you are, barging into my house wanting to kidnap your own children? That's sick and I don't need that in my life," Emma said, much calmer than she anticipated.
The man sighed and cleared his throat before he nodded and stood up.
"Okay, that's clear. Then I suppose this is a goodbye," he said as Emma stood up as well.
The blonde nodded. She didn't want to show it too much, but she was rather relieved that Killian was leaving Storybrooke. Perhaps now she could feel actually safe in this town.
"I suppose it is," she replied and for the first time in months, she genuinely smiled at the man.
She opened the living room door and led the man outside the house when she heard voices coming from the kitchen.
After she officially watched the man she once loved more than anything and now despised more than anything, walk out of her life, she walked to the kitchen where Regina and Granny were having a conversation.
"You're still here?" Emma asked confused as she joined the women at the kitchen table and looked confused at the brunette.
"Where else would I be?"
Emma chuckled softly and looked at the women. "Do you two want something to drink?" She asked.
"Some water, maybe," Regina replied with a smile.
Granny cleared her throat and looked at her watch. "Is it alright that perhaps, now that both of you are here, I head home?"
Emma nodded. "Yes, of course! Let me walk you out," she said and the two of them stood up and walked to the hallway leaving Regina behind.
As soon as Emma returned, she noticed that Regina somehow had made herself look sexier when she was alone in the kitchen.
She saw that Regina and unbuttoned some more of the buttons of her blouse, showing Emma more of her cleavage and her lips seemed darker than they did before.
