"I've been married to someone for two years, before I got a divorce, but my parents don't know we broke apart," Regina confessed softly and dropped her gaze, too afraid to look at Emma's reaction.

But to Regina's surprise, Emma only sighed relieved.

"Oh, thank goodness, I thought you were going to tell me you'd killed someone or so," Emma said and let out a relieved chuckle before she softly planted a kiss on Regina's hand.

"You're not.. mad?" Regina inquired and confusion was evident in her tone.

"No, why would I be?"

Regina shrugged and swallowed as she looked up to meet with Emma's eyes.

"I don't know. I figured that since you've trusted me with everything you felt bad because I hadn't told you this yet. And because now that we're like.. dating, or at least we went on a date, I thought you'd be mad knowing I've been married to someone before," Regina awkwardly explained.

Emma looked away from Regina and shrugged. She wasn't bothered by Regina being married before they.. got together? Regina could've trusted her with it, but she knew herself how hard it was to open up to people, so she wouldn't blame her for that.

"Are you going to tell them you're divorced?" She asked.

Regina shrugged yet again and sighed. "I probably should. His parents aren't aware of our divorce either. We just kept it silent as they were really pushing us together. Almost every time his or my parents came over, we'd visit each other as we didn't break up fighting or anything."

"But now he won't come over?" Emma questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"The reason I left Boston was my parents, like I told you, but he became quite annoying himself as well. Still lingering around me at times I really couldn't handle it. I felt like he wanted to get back together and I really didn't want that."

"So.. you fled?" Emma asked confused and Regina bit her lower lip.

She wasn't proud of how she'd handled things. Robin of Locksley was a nice guy, but she didn't love him and she wasn't going to love him in the future.

"Fleeing" had seemed like the best option and Regina didn't regret it. After ignoring her parents several weeks, she couldn't keep it from them any longer and she'd give them her address.

"Well.. kinda, yeah. He doesn't know that I live here now. I just wanted to leave all that behind, hence I moved here."

Emma nodded slowly as her gaze dropped from Regina's brown orbs to her full lips, with a thick layer of lipstick.

Regina leaned in and kissed Emma. She sighed contently as the blonde parted her lips, allowing her tongue inside her mouth.

Emma moaned softly and pulled Regina closer, when suddenly the kitchen door opened and Lola ran inside crying, followed by her sister.

The women quickly broke apart and looked at the children.

"Lola, what's wrong?" Emma asked as she exchanged a look with Regina who kneeled down in front of Eva, who was looking angry at her sister.
