His parents computer was set up on the bedside table, and Yoongi walked towards it.

They never had a password set up on it before, and there wasn't one now.

A message popped up saying the recent computer cleaning had been finished successfully.

"What's that app?" Hoseok asked, pointing at a specific spot on the screen.

"Our home security alarm." Yoongi clicked on it. "My parents can control it from here and from their phones."

The app loaded up and showed all systems were functional.

"Go to the night of March 9th." Namjoon walked over as well.

Yoongi did, scrolling the date back until he found the one he was looking for.

His breath caught as he saw the report for the night he was murdered.

"Systems were shut off at 2:38 A.M." Hoseok read aloud.

"I was up until four something." Yoongi whispered, voice hoarse.

Namjoon shook his head wildly. "No, guys this is crazy! Your parents did not kill you, Yoongi. I mean- why?! This makes no sense, they loved you!"

"I can't believe it either, but it makes sense why they didn't come running." Yoongi said. "And don't you think it's suspicious the alarm was shut off from this computer at that time of night on the night I was killed?"

"The intruder disabled the alarm system when he broke in." Namjoon said stubbornly.

"How did he know the laptop was in here?" Yoongi asked. "Or that we even have an alarm system in the first place?"

"Go to their emails." Hoseok said suddenly.

A little confused, Yoongi did.

He didn't have to scroll far to find something that caught his eyes.

"What's Haeyin Medical Center?" Namjoon frowned. "I mean, besides the obvious."

"I don't know, I've never heard of it." Yoongi clicked on the email.

There was a long chain of emails exchanged between Yoongi's parents and the hospital.

Yoongi started from the top, and Hoseok and Namjoon were silent as they read with him.

Words jumped out at him like monsters in a haunted house.

It took a few moments to read through them all, but at the end, Yoongi sat back, staring up at the ceiling, his mind drowning in this new information.

He never even knew Jungkook was sick.

Suddenly, he clicked out of the emails, racing the cursor over to his parents banking app.

"What are you doing?" Hoseok asked.

Yoongi didn't answer, just looked up the most recent transactions.

One stood out to him.

Twenty thousand won was taken out in cash, one week before the night Yoongi was killed.

"Yoongi..." Namjoon finally broke the silence. "I'm sure this isn't what it seems. I'm sure this is all just a big miscommuni-"

"Enough!" Yoongi finally snapped at him. "We all know what happened!"

"We do?" Hoseok was lost. "What was that cash taken out for?"

Yoongi faced him, tears running down Jimin's cheeks. "The recent cleaning the computer did, the money, the hospital, the alarms being turned off...it all makes sense now."

He put his head in his hands.

"My parents hired someone to kill me so they could use the life insurance money to save Jungkook."
