Claire's POV

"So explain to me why I have to do this?"

"Because you want her to be happy, so help!" Niall whined.

I was sitting on Niall's bed, helping him pick out an outfit for his and Sara's Skype date. Lord knows why, since they're not actually meeting in person. But since he's my friend and Sara's my bestie, I agreed to help the poor Irish boy out.

"Ok, fine," I sighed. "Which shirts were you thinking about?"

He ran over to his huge closet and started throwing clothes around. I laughed as his semi-neat room turned into a war zone. I stood up and started picking up clothes.... the OCD part of me was taking over. I folded polos, sweatshirts, and lots of Irish green shirts.

"Maybe I should hire you as a maid," Niall observed. I rolled my eyes.

"Horan, you couldn't afford me." I smirked and turned back to Niall's clothes. Time to get serious. I found a red shirt that would make Sara swoon, and I know this because we once had a two hour conversation about One Direction's sexy style choices. I threw it at Niall.

"Try it on, now." I turned around while he changed, since I have a boyfriend. I waited a minute with my eyes shut, but all I heard was Niall crashing into something.

"Uhh Claire, can you help me... I'm kinda stuck," Niall admitted. I started laughing.

"Claireee, it's not funny," he whined. I laughed until I could barely catch my breath. Once I had my breathing under control, I turned around and faced Niall.

Sweet Jesus.

That boy was an Irish angel.

I have a boyfriend.. but holy shit.

Sara was one lucky girl.

Niall was shirtless and had the red polo tangled around his head. I stifled a laugh and walked over to Niall. I placed my hands on Niall's shoulders since he was squirming around.

"Stay still silly," I scolded. "I can't help you if you keep moving."

Niall muttered something underneath his breath, but placed his hands on my waist.

"Good, now let me figure out-"

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?"

I spun around and saw an extremely pissed Louis standing in the doorway.

"Niall, I can't believe you're cheating on me with my girlfriend," Louis spat. Wait, why would Louis think that? I looked at my hands on Niall's shoulders, and then Niall's shirtlessness. Shoot.

"Lou, it isn't what it looks like," I said quickly. Louis didn't even look at me, instead he kept glaring at Niall.

"I knew I shouldn't have dated a Directioner. They just can't control themselves. Claire, we're over."

Tears threatened to spill onto my cheeks as I stared at Louis. Was he serious?

"Louis, please just let me explain," I begged. "Niall asked me to come over because he needed help picking out an outfit."

"And you helped him take it off," Louis smirked. Niall rested a hand on my shoulder as I tried not to cry. Great, my boyfriend thinks I'm a whore.

"Listen, mate, Claire was trying to help me with my Skype date with Sara-"

"Great. I'll go tell her that her best friend is sleeping with the guy she likes." And with that, the only boy I'd ever loved left the room, leaving my heart in pieces. I sank to the floor and started to cry. And not quiet crying either, loud sobs that shook my entire body. If Louis told Sara, and worse, if she believed him, I'd lose my best friend and boyfriend all in one day.

I cried for a good thirty minute while Niall tried to soothe me, but it wasn't working. I was settling in for a good sob fest when my phone buzzed. I pulled it out nervously.

From Sara: I hate you. I just can't believe it. Louis told me what happened. Sleeping with Niall, really? I thought you were supposed to be my best friend. I guess I was never important to you like you were important to me.

To Sara: Sara, I am so incredibly sorry. Niall asked me to come over to help him w/ his Skype date w/ u. I would NEVER go after a guy that my best friend liked. Please believe me!

From Sara: Whatever. We're done.

I started to cry harder and slammed my phone to the ground. I'd lost the two most important people in my life.
