Rin was slapped across her face by the "woman". The small old lady, was no longer a small old lady. She was now a tall, sturdy...man? Rin couldn't tell if the if he was even human. He was completely white with short green hair. His irises were rather large, yellow, and pupiless. He looked like he was in his mid twenties. He turned his back and dragged her by the back off her shirt. Rin ran through every option she had and tried picking what to do. Her adrenaline was pumping and she could hardly think straight. She knew her chances of making it out of this situation would decrease if he took her to wherever he was going.
She decided her best option was to get attention and distract him. She tried yelling for help but was stopped quickly. He turned and kicked her in jaw. She knew yelling was no longer an option when she heard a crack. He kept dragging her as if he never stopped. She reached up to touch her cheek. She finally registered the pain and groaned. She looked down at her hands and saw her fingers covered in blood. She looked at her her shirt and saw a dark spot forming. He had kicked her hard enough to break her jaw and break skin. The last thing she remembered was seeing blood drip from her chin to her shirt.
She woke up and sighed. She thought it had all been a bad dream until she became aware of the damp dirt below her. She looked around, but couldn't see anything unusual in the forest. She tried to sit up but couldn't. She gave up and stayed on the ground. Through the trees, she could make out the figure of the man who had dragged her into the forest. She glared up at him, only to be ignored.
"Who...are...you?" She gritted out.
"I'm Shiro Zetsu." He answered.
"What are...you?" She asked. Her jaw aching with every word.
"I'm an experiment. I have Hashirama Senju cells. To put it simply, I'm a simple being. I do as he says." He replied.
"Why...do you...want me?" She asked.
"You aren't really needed. You are just bait for the Uchiha boy." He explained.
"Just...not...no please." She begged.
"Come on." He demanded.
She knew that his plan would work. She knew obito and Kakashi would come looking for her. She tried stalling him by refusing to move. The longer she could keep herself in one place, the better. When he tried dragging her, she pulled against him. After ten minutes of her fighting back, he got tired of fighting her. He kicked her in the stomach. When she didn't fall over, he kicked in the side of the face, on the side he broke her jaw. She spit out blood and tried fighting back. She was too weak and he managed to start dragging her again.
She spit out more blood and glared at the ground. Suddenly, she got an idea. She remembered that Kakashi had an excellent sense of smell and a pack of ninken. She realized if she could leave a small trail of of fabric and blood, they could follow it. Since the fabric would have chakra on it and the blood had chakra in it, Obito would be able to identify her chakra. She pulled out one of her kunai and hid it in her sleeve. She untied the string from around her waist and dropped it. She unwrapped her bandages under her holster and dropped them. She tore small bits off her sleeves and apron and dropped them as she was dragged. When she stopped tearing her apron, she pushed both her stockings down. She pulled out her kunai and began making small slashes on her shins. She made sure there was enough blood to drip and leave a trail. She was careful to not cause any major bleeding.
He dragged her for hours. He continued on even after nightfall. He seemed to know exactly where he was going and how to get there. She gave up fighting and tried to conserve chakra. She was able to store and build chakra in the seal on her forehead. Storing so much of her chakra at once left her weak. She didn't have the energy to fight and could hardly stay awake. She did her best to observe her surroundings so she could get back if she escaped. It was hard to track where she was being taken since it was all just dense forest. She eventually gave into sleep after being dragged across the forest floor for over a day.
When Rin finally woke up, she began panicking when all she could see was darkness. She was sure she had opened her eyes, so the darkness confused her. There was no blindfold so she knew she was somewhere dark. She took a minute to let her eyes adjust to low light. When she had finally adjusted to the setting, she noticed that the wall were shiny. Suddenly the damp, earthy smell of a cave hit her and she realized she was being held captive in a cave...again. She went to sit up put was stopped by the clinking of chains. She looked down at hands and sighed. Her hands had been placed in cuffs and chained to a wall. Her feet were also chained together.
Rin looked for the entrance of cave, but only saw rock. She came to the conclusion that one of the walls was raised by an earth jutsu. She could've lowered the wall, but she had no idea which wall it was and her hands were bound in a way that she couldn't use hand seals. She managed to push herself into a sitting position and leaned against the wall. In the in the center of the cavern, there was a small lantern. It radiated enough light for her to see what she was doing. She looked down at her legs. Shiro Zetsu had taken her kunai holster and senbon needles from her medic pouch. What he didn't know was that she kept a spare set of senbon strapped to her waist under her shirt. She also had a small pocket in her sleeve that she would hide a kunai in. She didn't pull out any of her weapons, she didn't need them and she didn't want him to know she had weapons.
Suddenly, the wall to her left collapsed. Shiro Zetsu appeared next to her with a bowl in hand. He sat the bowl down in front of her. He walked over to the lantern and checked it. He looked at it and turned it a few times before setting it down again. He walked over to Rin and looked down at her. She had remained still the entire time, leaning against the wall with her eyes almost closed. She had been watching him the whole time but wasn't sure if he was aware. He stared at her for a few more minutes. He grunted and kicked her over.
"I brought you soup, kid." He pointed to the bowl.
"Why feed...me?" Rin glared up at him.
"We need you alive." He answered.
"Why...keep...me alive?" She asked as she glanced at the soup. It was a dirty brown color with small green and dark orange chunks.
"You can't die yet." He said simply.
He walked back out and raised the wall. She drew a deep line in the dirt that pointed towards the wall that could be lowered for later reference. She looked down at her soup. She had three options. Shiro Zetsu said she couldn't die yet. So, their plan would fail if she died. Her options were to either starve herself or go out in the least painful way possible or she could wait and fight her way out. She looked between the soup, the kunai in her sleeve, and the wall. She knew what she to do. She refused to die here. She was going to fight her way out of this.
She leaned over and picked up the bowl. She didn't have a spoon so she just drank the soup. She forced herself to drink it, no matter how much she wanted to gag. It was basically watered down beef broth with soggy vegetables. It looked like carrots and peas, or maybe it was broccoli. She never thought she would miss the meals Obito cooked until she finished the soup. Kakashi would always pretend to eat it, then, fed his food to his ninken, and claimed he ate it. She smiled at the memory.
She put the bowl down and leaned back against the wall. All she had to do was wait. She needed to build up her chakra in order to fight Shiro Zetsu. He said he does "what he says". She had to be ready to fight whoever this "he" was. She was hoping that by the time she built up enough chakra, Obito and Kakashi would arrive and they could fight together. She slowly dozed off. She was aware enough to now if anything happened on the other side of the wall, but still sleeping heavy enough to get rest. She waited and conserved her chakra. A single tear slid down her cheek.
After two days, she the effects were starting to kick in. Anxiety, depression, and dread began to set in. She was losing hope of ever getting out, but she tried to stay positive. Her mental and physical state were deteriorating. Anxiety kept her from sleeping well, and because of this, her body was weakening. The only good things were that she was building up more and more chakra and the small cuts on her legs were healing. There were at least twenty small slashes on each shin. Her stockings were stained with dried blood, as was her shirt and apron.
She was given the same soup every day. She wasn't in great shape, but she wasn't in the worse condition either. She had dark circles around her eyes and tear stains on her cheeks. Her hair was a mess and her headband lay on the ground next to her. She had cuts forming around her wrists and ankles from the chains. Her knees and hands were scratched and bruised from crawling across the dirt and rock. It had been three days and she still knew nothing. She began crying from frustration and stress.
After a half hour, she finally calmed down. After she had calmed dow, the wall collapsed and Shiro Zetsu appeared behind the rocks. Behind him, she could see a gray robe disappear into a tunnel. Quickly, the tunnel disappeared and was replaced with solid rock. He sat down some soup and just stared at her for a minute. She looked like an absolute mess. She had lost a few pounds and she looked exhausted. He turned a began to walk away.
"Wait. Who is...the "he" you...follow?" She asked.
"What do you mean." He asked without turning to face her.
"You said..."I do...as he says." Who is...the "he"? She clarified.
"Madara. Madara Uchiha." He stated. Now, he was facing Rin with a neutral expression.
"What does...he...want with Obi...to?" She was in shock. Madara Uchiha was supposed to be dead. He had died at least a hundred years ago.
"I suppose it wouldn't hurt to tell you. Not like you'll make it out." He muttered.
"So..." she prompted.
"Okay. I'll tell you if you really want to know." He walked back towards her.
"Yes...please." She sat up to listen.
"You are the bait. You'll bring the Uchiha boy here. Madara needs him for the Tsuki no Me Plan. He inte-" Shiro Zetsu sat in front of her.
"What is...the...Tsuki no Me?" Rin interrupted.
"The plan for ultimate peace. He needs an Uchiha to help him. They will cast the Infinite Tsuki no Me and put the world in a dream state. Everyone will be resealed into the God Tree. It will bring the world into peace again." He continued his explanation.
"Argh! No, no, no!" She yelled, despite the pain in her jaw. She brought her legs up to her chest and pressed her forehead on her knees.
Shiro Zetsu stood and left without another word. Rin broke down. She knew she didn't stand a chance against Madara on her own. She didn't even know the abilities of Shiro Zetsu. She had no idea what to do. She couldn't think straight, she felt helpless, she couldn't handle the stress and fear. She laid on the floor crying. What could two Chuunin and a Jounin do against Madara Uchiha and Shiro Zetsu? For Kami's sake, they were only three thirteen year olds. She yelled and screamed in pain and frustration, she knew it was pointless, but she screamed anyways. Every time she moved her mouth, it shot searing pains through her jaw, only making her her cry more.
Her jaw was broken and she couldn't heal it. It had slowly starting healing on its own, but not like it should. It was healing crooked and would stay crooked. The only way to fix the problem was to fracture the bone and heal it correctly. She wasn't in a position to do either of those. The cut on the left side of her chin had closed up and was sore to the slightest touch. Honestly, Rin never really cared about her looks. She was okay with the fact that if she got out of the cave, her jaw would be crooked. She thought fracturing and healing it again wasn't worth it. She just accepted the fact that her smile would always be bit off.
She calmed down after an hour and fell asleep. She was resting peacefully for the first time in four days. She was so exhausted her body finally collapsed and she was able sleep. Her sleep was cut short, though. She heard the sound of fight and muffled voices. She sat up and looked around. Since no one was  in her part of the cave, it meant someone was in the other side of the wall.
She pulled out her kunai and placed next to her feet. She pulled out a senbon needle and bit the end of it. She lifted her arms and began to pick the lock on her cuffs. The lock clicked and the cuffs fell to the ground. She picked the lock on the chains around her ankles. When the chains fell she laid down and sighed. She was relieved that she wasn't chained to a wall any more. She went to stand up, only to double over in pain. She had been chained to the wall so long and was in such a bad condition that her body wasn't strong enough. She fell to the ground in a heap and just laid there. She drifted in and out of consciousness.
"Bakashi! The wall!" She heard Obito's unmistakable voice and his nickname for Kakashi.
She tried yelling, but she was too drained. She couldn't even sit up. She used what chakra she hadn't stored and forced it to flare. Her chakra flare was all she could do to tell them that she was there. She could hear clashing metal coming closer. Suddenly, the wall began to lower. She could see light seep in through the crack at the top, and then, nothing. Blackness took over her vision.
