The reason why the story is called BULLIES is because in the story as you guys read Joseph aka the bully was BULLYING Adalyn aka the bullied even though they were together.
He raped her, he hurt her emotionally, he hurt physically and he made her think less of herself mentally.
Anyone can be a bully, whether they're close to you or not. Not all bullies will be the ones in school and so on, a bully doesn't have to be a certain person or because they're your friend. No matter how close you are to someone and they make you think less of yourself or hurt you physically or emotionally they're a bully.
A bully can be any age. So just because someone older or younger than you is treating you bad it still means that they're bullying you.
In the story, as read, bullies can make people around you think different of you by saying mean things or doing things to make them believe it.
Bullies can make you grow distant from the people who you were close to so that you will think telling someone is bad because you think that they'll make it worse.
Don't let them do that!
There is always someone you can talk to. ALWAYS.
Bullying is a type of abuse. Bullying someone will make them feel less, ugly, worthless, scared and alone. Most people who gets bullied will either commit suicide or become mentally weak. Bullies are toxic.
Don't be a victim to bullying.
And if you do see someone getting bullied please don't ignore it! Stand up for them if they can't for themselves.
